Danil Koretsky is the author of many detective stories, novels about the work of special services and criminal elements, as well as a number of scientific works. Biography
Koretsky was born on 08/04/1948 in the city of Rostov-on-Don. Both parents of the author worked as doctors. Father is a dentist, mother Julia is a cardiologist. In memory of the uncle who died, they wanted to name the child by the name Don, but they did not register a person with that name in the registry office. Then the name Daniel was chosen, with one “And,” in contradiction to Daniel.
At the age of 19, the young man receives a diploma of the Radio Technical College, and after 3 years he successfully completes his studies at the Faculty of Law of the University of Rostov.
Law Enforcement Service
Immediately after completing his studies at the university, Koretsky Danil Arkadyevich arranged to work in the police department as an investigator. Three years later, in 1975, he became a senior researcher in the criminological research department of the laboratory in the North Caucasus region.
In this position, Danil Koretsky worked for 5 years. In 1981, he was transferred to the faculty of the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the USSR in Rostov-on-Don. With the collapse of the Union, he takes the previous position of the head of the department of forensic science and criminally executive rights, and the institution is renamed the Rostov Law Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation.

Currently Danil Koretsky works and lives in Rostov-on-Don with his wife Anna.
