The basic principles of homeopathy
Using homeopathy, people sometimes confuse it with herbal medicine. But at the end of the 18th century, its creator Samuel Hahnemann laid the foundation for the described method of treatment that the like should be treated like. That is, if, for example, a substance such as quinine in large doses causes a person to have symptoms similar to fever in malaria, then a small dose will help against this disease.
In addition, it is important to know, when talking about homeopathic remedies, that this is such a small amount of starting material that is not even measured in milligrams. In homeopathy they speak of an "infinitely small amount."
For this, the necessary substance is repeatedly diluted in water and shaken vigorously (dynamized). Such a procedure leads to the fact that water "remembers" its structure, potential, energy, but it is present in solution in an infinitely small amount. In some cases, the drug may not contain at the output a single molecule of the starting substance, but only that water that "remembered" information about it.
And another important law of homeopathy is an individual approach to each patient when creating a medicine for him. It is believed that homeopathy does not cure the disease, but the patient himself.
What are homeopathic medicines made of, what is it?
Means that are homeopathic, unlike conventional medicines, do not have a specific scope. They can not be attributed, for example, to antiseptic, analgesic or bacteriostatic, because they affect the whole body as a whole.
As raw materials for them, only natural substances of mineral, vegetable or animal origin are used. Perhaps the most impressive is the list of homeopathic medicines made from roots, stems, leaves, flowers or fruits of a wide variety of plants. Homeopathic remedies are produced in the form of drops, solutions, ointments, but most often they are in the form of granules - small balls made of lactose, sometimes with the addition of sucrose, saturated with the main healing substance. When using them, several rules should be observed:
- do not take the granule with your hands - it is better to pour the contents from the jar into a spoon, and then send it into your mouth;
- homeopathic remedies are not taken after using flavored toothpastes or rinsing the mouth with a breath freshener - in these cases you should wait 30 minutes;
- when prescribing two drugs, do not use them at the same time - make an interval between them at least an hour;
- let the product dissolve in the mouth - do not swallow or chew it;
- do this half an hour before a meal or an hour after it;
- shake drops before use.
In the acute course of the disease, homeopathic remedies are taken every half hour or an hour (depending on how you feel). As soon as the desired result is achieved, drug administration is stopped. This, incidentally, consists in their fundamental difference from traditional medicines, which should be drunk in courses, even if the general state of health has improved. By the way, a homeopathic remedy with excessive intake can provoke the same symptoms for the elimination of which it was used.
How are homeopathic medicines stored?
Homeopathic medicines are stored in a dry place protected from heat and direct sunlight. Make sure that there are no smelling substances near them. Do not keep these products in the refrigerator, they spoil from the presence of extraneous odors and high humidity.
Homeopathic medicines should not be exposed to electromagnetic fields - that is, they should be kept away from televisions and computers. When traveling, make sure that they do not go through inspection through magnetic or X-ray detectors.
