Tasty and original salad "Raffaello"

Raffaello salad turns out to be as tender and tasty as a dessert with the same name. This puff dish can be prepared from various ingredients. Today we will consider the simplest and most affordable recipe, which includes boiled chicken and fried champignons.

Required Products:

Raffaello salad

  • semi-hard cheese "Olttermani" - 160 g;
  • a normal sized egg (hard boiled) - 3 pcs.;
  • boiled carrots (you can take Korean hot) - 140 g;
  • fresh mushrooms (it is better to purchase mushrooms) - 270 g;
  • boiled chicken fillet - 300 g;
  • table salt - add during processing of components;
  • medium onions - 2 pcs.;
  • low-calorie mayonnaise - smear layers as you wish;
  • refined sunflower oil - 60 ml (for frying mushrooms and onions).

To make the Raffaello salad tender and tasty, it’s better to purchase chilled chicken breasts for its preparation. They should be washed, boiled in salt broth, and then cooled, cleaned of skin, bones, cut into pieces and finely divided by hand into fibers.

Raffaello salad also includes fleshy mushrooms. We decided to use only fresh small mushrooms for this dish. They need to be washed, cut into small cubes, and then fry until a brownish crust appears along with onions. At the same time, it is recommended to use refined sunflower oil for heat treatment.

Processing the rest of the ingredients

In addition to meat, mushrooms and onions, the Rafaello salad with chicken includes ingredients such as carrots and chicken eggs. The latter should be washed, boiled, and then cooled and cleaned. Next, the products must be grated on a coarse grater. Exactly the same should be done with the semi-hard cheese "Oltermany."

Decoration of the dish

There are many ways to create a Raffaello salad. Consider each of the options in more detail.

1. You should take a shallow plate, and then lay the following products on it: layers of chicken, fried mushrooms with onions, boiled carrots, chicken eggs and grated semi-hard cheese. It is worth noting that each ingredient (except the last) must be lubricated with mayonnaise of low fat content.

2. All prepared ingredients, except grated cheese, must be mixed in a large bowl, seasoned with mayonnaise, and then roll the balls with your hands and roll them in a crushed dairy product. After that, they need to be laid out in a slide in a deep dish. Sprinkle grated cheese on top of the salad once more.
