You can wrap any stuffing in pita bread, everything you can find in the refrigerator or at hand. Even lean pita bread can be prepared in such a way that you just lick your fingers.
This recipe is very simple and completely time-consuming, which makes it almost priceless.
Lavash lean roll with mushrooms
Essential Ingredients:
- two sheets of pita bread;
- approximately 600-700 grams of champignons;
- one large onion;
- two large carrots;
- approximately 250 grams of cheese.
We stocked up on food and begin to cook lean roll from pita bread with mushrooms.
Rinse the mushrooms well, peel them and finely chop. We do the same with onions. We clean the carrots and grate. Fry mushrooms, carrots and onions in a pan until ready. Add salt and pepper to taste.
Grate the cheese.
We take a leaf of pita bread and put grated cheese on it, and on top of the cheese layer of “roasting”. We do the same with the second sheet of pita bread.
We turn both sheets into a tube and put on a greased baking sheet.
Bake pita bread in the oven for about ten to fifteen minutes.
Lean pita roll with rice and herring
Ingredients:
- half a glass of rice (better than round - it will break apart faster);
- one carrot;
- greens of parsley and dill;
- herring;
- vegetable oil;
- vinegar.
We begin to prepare lean roll from pita bread with rice and herring. First you need to boil the rice to a state of porridge. Add a little carrot (pre-fried) to the rice. Then we attach chopped parsley and dill to it (already chilled).
Peel herring from the skin and bones and soak in vegetable oil with vinegar (for about an hour). After the herring is marinated, you need to cut it into long stripes (as usual, serve on the table).
We cut a large onion in half rings and fry until golden brown.
We take a sheet of pita bread and spread it well with our rice paste, on top we spread another leaf of pita bread, on which we spread the fried onion and herring.
We turn the roll, then wrap it in foil or cling film and hide in the refrigerator (for about an hour). Serve with ketchup.

Lavash roll with tuna
Essential Ingredients:
- four sheets of thin pita bread;
- two hundred grams of tuna (canned) ;
- four eggs;
- one onion (red);
- a bunch of green dill;
- green onions;
- parsley;
- two hundred grams of mayonnaise;
- salt;
- spices (optional).
Boil the eggs. Knead the tuna with a fork. Peel the onion and chop finely. Eggs and greens need to be chopped.
Take a sheet of pita bread and grease with mayonnaise. Spread tuna slices on top and cover with another sheet of pita bread. Lubricate the second layer with mayonnaise and lay eggs on it. Cover with pita bread again. Cover the third with mayonnaise and spread the greens and onions. Cover with a fourth sheet of pita bread.
We tightly turn all the sheets into one roll and, cutting into two parts, wrap in a film (food). We hide the roll in the refrigerator for two hours. Also, instead of tuna, you can take boiled chicken fillet.

Lavash roll with sausage
You will need these ingredients:
- four pita leaves;
- approximately 300-400 grams of sausage (boiled);
- 300 grams of cheese;
- 300 grams of carrots (Korean);
- mayonnaise.
Three sheets of pita bread should be greased with mayonnaise. On the first sheet we spread the sausage, mashed through a coarse grater. On the second we spread the grated cheese. On the third we spread Korean carrots. We cover everything with the fourth sheet.
We turn our sheets into a roll and wrap them with cling film. We hide in the refrigerator for several hours. Before serving, you need to cut the roll into pieces. You can also serve it on lettuce, garnished with olives.
