Today it is fashionable to be healthy and slim, so a huge number of people try to monitor their diet, excluding excessively high-calorie and fat-saturated foods. A must-have for healthy eating is cottage cheese. It is rich in protein and calcium, but does not differ in high calorie content, especially if you choose a product with low fat content.
However, eating cottage cheese just bothers so quickly, so you should learn how to cook healthy and low-calorie dishes from it, which will not only help you lose weight, but also benefit the body. An example of such a dish is a cottage cheese diet casserole.
How does such a casserole differ from the usual? The fact is that in classic recipes for casseroles, as a rule, there are products such as semolina, sugar, flour. If you exclude the use of these high-calorie ingredients, you get a dish that can rightly be called a "diet cheese casserole."
But will such a dish be tasty? After all, a healthy diet does not mean eating healthy, but not appetizing, foods. To prepare a tasty, but low-calorie dish, we replace the semolina with more useful hercules or bran, and instead of sugar we add raisins or sweet fruits.
So, in order to prepare a dish, cottage cheese diet casserole will require a pack of cottage cheese, weighing 250 grams, 30 grams of kefir or yogurt with a fat content of 1.5%, one egg. In addition, you need to take raisins, dried apricots or fresh sweet fruits, such as bananas or pears.
You need to cook such a casserole in the oven. It is good if you have a silicone mold that allows baking without oiling, but you can cook this casserole in the usual form. Beat cottage cheese with kefir and eggs in a blender. Then add washed and well-dried raisins or other fruits, cut into pieces. If you use bananas for casserole, then you can make mashed potatoes and mix with the curd mass.
Pour the curd “dough” into the mold and bake in a hot oven for about forty minutes. You can bake this dish in the microwave, it will take 5-7 minutes to cook, depending on the power of the device.
Cottage cheese diet casserole can be cooked according to another recipe, in which the traditional semolina is replaced with oatmeal (ground Hercules flakes) or bran. And if you really want to make the dish more sweet, then you can use sugar substitutes instead of sugar.
An example of such a recipe is a low-calorie cottage cheese casserole with strawberries. To prepare such a casserole, you need two hundred grams of low-fat cottage cheese, a spoonful of fructose, two eggs that need to be slightly beaten, three full tablespoons of ground oatmeal, vanilla or lemon peel and about a hundred grams of fresh or frozen strawberries, and several berries should be set aside for decoration.
Mix all products in a blender for a homogeneous mass, bake in one large form or in small tins for making muffins. Serve chilled, garnished with strawberries and a mint leaf.
When it comes to cottage cheese casseroles, most of us present a sweet dessert dish. But a casserole can be made as a snack bar, having prepared it with cheese and herbs. We offer you to try such a non-banal dish as unsweetened cottage cheese casserole. The recipe for diet food is quite uncomplicated. Beat with a fork 2 eggs in a bowl, add a packet of low-fat cottage cheese (250 grams) and mix well. Take half a spoonful of soda and stir it in two tablespoons of kefir, pour this mass into the curd. Add two tablespoons of ground oatmeal or bran and one hundred grams of low-fat hard cheese to be grated on a fine grater. It remains to add finely chopped greens and mix. Pour the curd into a silicone mold and bake for about forty minutes in the oven at a temperature of 180 degrees. Five minutes before the end of the baking period, sprinkle our gratin with grated cheese. Serving such a casserole to the table is better when chilled.
