Chicken in sour cream

  • 500 g of chicken;
  • a small mug of milk;
  • 250 g of mushrooms (champignons or honey mushrooms are suitable);
  • 250 g sour cream;
  • 2 onions;
  • salt, spices to taste.

It is better to take fresh mushrooms. They must be washed, cleaned, washed again, poured with a moderate amount of water, then brought to a boil. Cook them for 15 minutes. Then they will be thrown back into a colander. Already boiled mushrooms in frozen form are on sale. They will only have to be cut into pieces.

Chicken meat also needs to be cut into pieces. Peel the onion. Put chicken pieces in a preheated, oil-frying pan. They need to be fried on both sides (it takes about 7 minutes). Then reduce the heat to medium and fry for about 20 minutes. Put the mushrooms in a pan with oil, fry to evaporate all the liquid (this will take about 10 minutes). Add onion to the mushrooms, fry it for another 10 minutes. Fried mushrooms shift to the chicken, onion too. Salt, season with spices.

Mix sour cream and milk. If you do not add milk, sour cream will curl immediately. Simmer for 15 minutes without closing the lid, then the liquid will evaporate a little. The resulting dish can be served both independently and with vegetables in various forms.

Now consider a simple recipe - chicken in sour cream with garlic. It provides an opportunity to enjoy a gentle hearty dinner. Need products:

  • 1 chicken weighing about 1 kg;
  • sour cream - about 250-300 grams;
  • a bunch of parsley;
  • a bunch of dill;
  • a few cloves of garlic;
  • vegetable oil;
  • salt.

Dividing the chicken into portions, you need to fry it in oil until half-ready. Chop the garlic and herbs, mix with sour cream, add salt and mix. In the resulting sour cream sauce, immerse each piece of chicken, then put in a pan for subsequent stewing. The sour cream that remains is spread on top of the meat. After adding 1-1.5 cups of water, simmer on low heat a little less than half an hour.

Oven in chicken in sour cream

For cooking, you will need a whole chicken, sour cream - 100 g, herbs, chicken seasoning, salt, pepper.

Put the bird in a deep dish for subsequent baking. Grease well with pepper and salt. Under the skin you need to place chopped garlic in rings. Next, smear the whole chicken with sour cream.
