Cooking Products
Regardless of the recipe, cooking beef langeta necessarily involves the following products:
- meat. According to the rules, the beef tongue is prepared strictly from beef or veal tenderloin, which is the most tender, delicious and soft. You can take just a good piece of pulp.
- fat. It is preferable to use melted lard, but you can just sunflower oil.
- salt, pepper - the taste of the hostess.
Can also be used breadcrumbs, flour, tomato, butter, sour cream, meat broth or water, cognac, bay leaf and other seasonings.
How to cook beef langet?
- The recipe is traditional. Cut the beef tenderloin into oblong pieces 10-15 mm thick, beat, salt and season with a pinch of black allspice. Put the pieces on a hot frying pan greased. Fry meat at a temperature of 170 degrees for the required time, first on one side, then on the other side over medium heat. Put on a plate, pour over the resulting juice, pre-filtering it to remove flakes.
- Breaded meat line. The meat is cooked according to a traditional recipe, but before frying it is breadcrumbs in breadcrumbs or flour.
- Langet with cream sauce. Cook meat according to a traditional recipe. At the end of cooking, add a couple teaspoons of non-acidic sour cream or cream to the pan. Simmer over low heat under a closed lid for 8-10 minutes. Transfer the meat to a dish and pour it on the resulting delicious creamy sauce. If desired, add about 50 g of fresh butter to the plate.
- Langet with tomato sauce. Cook meat according to a traditional recipe. At the end of cooking, put a couple of teaspoons of fresh tomato paste in a pan, or better - tomato sauce. Simmer another 10 minutes over low heat under a lid. If you cook the meat with the addition of 1 teaspoon of cream and 1 teaspoon of tomato sauce, you will get a langet with creamy tomato sauce.

- Beef tongue with onion sauce. Cook meat according to a traditional recipe. To prepare onion sauce, you can also fry onions in a separate frying pan until golden, put them on a saucer. In the same pan, fry a little (incomplete tablespoon) of flour to a light brown color, add the fried onions, dilute everything with 1 cup of meat broth (you can simply use water, but the broth is tastier), salt, season with a pinch of black ground pepper, boil on low heat until half the liquid has evaporated, add 100 grams of non-acidic sour cream or cream, hold on low heat for another 5 minutes. Pour the sauce with the resulting sauce and simmer all together for another 10 minutes.

How to serve a dish - with or without a side dish?
The dish is very tasty in itself, so beef langet can be served without a side dish, just decorating with greens.
