We present you a roll of puff pastry. This dish is distinguished by its simplicity and excellent taste. Although the dough is puff, itโs easy to prepare. And the addition of cinnamon makes the taste elegant and special.
Cinnamon Puff Pastry Buns
To make these buns you will need:
for buns:
- 250 milligrams of milk;
- 15 grams of yeast;
- a pound of flour;
- 60 grams of butter;
- two teaspoons of sugar;
- one teaspoon of salt;
- two eggs;
- 120 grams of oil for lamination;
- some sugar and cinnamon to sprinkle.
for shtrezel:
- 35 grams of flour and sugar;
- 18 grams of oil;
- 1 egg for lubrication.
In order to make cinnamon puff pastry rolls you will need:
1. Rub the yeast with flour and add butter to them (it should be at room temperature). Shake the eggs with milk and add to the flour.
2. Knead the dough until it sticks off your hands.
3. Put the dough to fit for about an hour. During this time, its volumes will increase approximately twice.
4. Then put the dough in the refrigerator and leave it there for half an hour.
5. After that, we roll it into a rectangle, the thickness of which should be two centimeters. Put soft butter on the rectangle.
6. Then we fold our dough three times and pinch the edges so that the oil does not come out. After that, roll out the dough and fold it already four times. Then we put our dough in the refrigerator for an hour (but it can be done all night).
7. When the dough is ready, roll it into a rectangle, about one centimeter thick, sprinkle sugar and cinnamon on top. Then cut into strips and fold into flagella.
8. After the buns are infused for half an hour, grind the flour, butter and sugar into crumbs, then grease the buns with the egg and sprinkle with shtrezel.
9. Bake rolls for about half an hour at 180 degrees.
If you donโt have too much time to cook puff pastry on your own, then keep it ready in the refrigerator. So your guests will never take you by surprise. Because literally in half an hour you can cook delicious envelopes from puff pastry.
Puff pastry envelopes with apples
You will need:
- one pack of frozen puff pastry;
- two large apples;
- sugar.
From so many products, you get 16 envelopes.
Cooking process:
1. First you need to roll out the dough and cut into 16 squares.
2. Cut the apples into quarters, and then cut each quarter in half.
3. On each square of puff pastry, spread a piece of apple, sprinkle with sugar a little, then take the dough along the edges and glue it in the form of an envelope.
4. The edges need to be glued together very tightly so that your envelopes do not fall apart.
5. Put the finished envelopes on a baking sheet and send to the oven.
6. You can take out envelopes as soon as they are browned.
