Everyone is aware of the benefits of cauliflower. But not everyone is able to cook it so that it is also tasty. Most often, the vegetable is boiled and fried in batter. Undoubtedly, this is a very good recipe, but cauliflower casserole - with cheese, mushrooms, ham, chicken or sausage - will be much more appetizing and interesting. In principle, the accompanying components can be put in any way, except that with the fish it will not work out very well.
Cream casserole with mustard
Maybe a good breakfast, if you remove the garlic - you still have to go to work. The main ingredient (about 300 grams) is quickly boiled in salted water - no longer than five minutes, so that it remains firm, slightly crispy. Then the cabbage is disassembled into inflorescences and laid out in a greased form. A glass of low-fat cream is driven in with two eggs, a teaspoon of mustard, two pressed garlic cloves and spices - salt, Provencal herbs and pepper. The resulting mixture is poured spread inflorescences, sprinkled with coarsely grated cheese and put in the oven. Your casserole of cauliflower, cheese and eggs will stand in the oven for 20-25 minutes, depending on the size of the form and layer of components in it. We ask to the table!
Ham casserole
This option is for meat lovers. So that you do not get tired of cauliflower, a casserole with cheese can be supplemented with chicken and minced meat, but it is prepared faster and more deliciously with ham or brisket.
Cabbage is prepared, as in the previous recipe (about half a kilogram). The onion is chopped finely, the ham (as you like) with straws. First, let the onions in the pan, then ham is added to it, at the end - cabbage inflorescences. It is not necessary to fry until tender, just a slight blush. The mass is transferred to the form, peppered, salted and sprinkled with chopped dill. Two eggs with a glass of milk are beaten in a large cup, flavored with a pair of chopped cloves of garlic, and the resulting mixture is poured into a form with cabbage. Cheese spills out from above - and into the oven for half an hour. A sign of readiness will be a golden crust. There is a dish tastier hot.
Casserole with mushrooms
As a lean dish, it will not work, but for those who keep a figure - completely. Cabbage is processed in the manner described above; while water flows from it, frying is made of two chopped medium-sized onions. The onion will become translucent - ten pieces of crushed champignons are added, then everything is stewed together for 5-10 minutes. First inflorescences are laid out in the form, then mushrooms. Of three eggs, a glass of (incomplete) milk and a spoonful of flour, pouring is done, which is poured into a mold. Cheese is rubbed on top, and cauliflower casserole with cheese and mushrooms is put in the oven until a beautiful and tasty crust is obtained.
Baby casserole with cream sauce
The younger generation of vegetables is, to put it mildly, cool. And to put it bluntly, they are trying to escape from their eating with ardor and enthusiasm. However, the proposed cauliflower casserole with cheese and egg is perceived by them quite favorably. It is also good because it can combine cauliflower with no less useful broccoli. 400 grams of the first and 200 grams of the second are boiled and filtered. Both cabbages are mashed with a blender - so that the offspring would not have guessed that they were slipping them, and the casserole was more airy. Two eggs and a glass of cream are beaten with a mixer; here you can add a little grated cheese - for density. The form is filled with mashed cabbage, filled with sauce, and the top is generously sprinkled with the remaining cheese. Now for half an hour in the oven - and call the children to the table.
Casserole with sausage and cheese
We have already considered the ham option. With sausage, the procedure is somewhat different from that described. Firstly, if you take any sort of smoked sausage, do not try to fry it, but if you have a βboiled potβ, this moment cannot be avoided. It is better to take smoked meat. Cabbage is boiled as a standard, cooled and drained from the water. The form is filled in layers: half cabbage, chopped sausage, grated cheese, the second half of cabbage. On top, the cake is sprinkled with breadcrumbs and placed in a hot oven for ten minutes. Then a cauliflower casserole with cheese and sausage is poured with eggs beaten with milk (half a glass of milk for 2 eggs) and returned to the oven for another quarter hour.
If you use a microwave
With the help of this machine, cauliflower casserole with cheese is also very easy to prepare. Since the microwave oven is usually not large in size, it is convenient to cook this dish in clay pots. A quarter kilogram of cauliflower is boiled, drained and stacked in a container. Grams of 50 cheese are rubbed, combined with a couple of spoons of breadcrumbs (for greater density), melted butter, salt, oregano and pepper. The resulting mass is laid out over the cabbage, and the pots are placed in the stove, turned on at medium power. Have to experiment: containers come in different sizes. Turn on the microwave for 10 minutes; if the cheese is not baked, extend the procedure for another five minutes. When ready, let your cauliflower and cheese casserole stay in the oven for a few more minutes.
