The unusual name "Bahor" salad received due to its beautiful appearance. Translated from Uzbek, this means "spring." In their homeland, Bahor salad has long earned the recognition of all gourmets. We began to do it relatively recently. However, even here he liked many. The real βBahorβ is cooked with lamb. However, in Russia they prefer the simplified version more and make it with chicken or low-fat ham. Thus, the delicious and nutritious Bahor salad also becomes a diet dish, which will undoubtedly delight the female half. The advantage of the dish is that products for it can be purchased at every supermarket. And this means that at any time of the year you can give yourself a spring mood.
We buy products
Despite the name of salad, unusual for a Russian person, the products for it will require the simplest ones:
- meat or sausage - 250 g;
- tomatoes - 200 g;
- chicken eggs - 3 pcs.;
- onion turnip - 1/2 head;
- young cucumbers - 200 g;
- garlic - 1-2 cloves;
- green onions - 4-5 feathers;
- cilantro, dill, parsley - 30 g each;
- spices, salt.
Cooking
So, all the ingredients are bought, you can start cooking the Bahor salad. If you use sausage, then just cut it into strips. Soak the meat in water and let it stand for a couple of hours. Then we set it to cook, and in the meantime we deal with the rest of the products.
If cucumbers and tomatoes are bought in a store, it is also advisable to keep them in water for some time. If the vegetables are from your garden, then you can skip this step and immediately start chopping. Cucumbers chopped into strips. If the tomatoes are hard enough, they are also cut into strips, after removing the seeds. Eggs are poured with water and boiled hard boiled. Then they are cleaned and ground with a fork or passed through an egg slicer. Onion turnips are cut in half rings to remove the bitterness, you can slightly sprinkle it with vinegar or lime juice. Chop the garlic with a knife or crush it through a press. Carefully wash the greens and put in a colander or sieve so that the glass is liquid. After that, finely chopped. The prepared meat is cooled and cut into medium-sized cubes. Next, all prepared components are put in a deep bowl and mixed, pepper and salt are added.
Finishing touches
Salad "Bahor" is almost ready, now we will prepare a dressing and decorate. You can fill the dish with mayonnaise, refined oil, or you can make a mixture of olive oil and a drop of balsamic vinegar.
