Frozen Corn Recipe

This is one of the simplest recipes for grain soups. For this option, a gentle soup of mashed frozen corn you need to take:

  • 300 grams of grains.
  • 100 grams of onion.
  • 600 ml of milk (2.5% fat).
  • A couple of tablespoons of vegetable oil.
  • Half a teaspoon of salt.
  • A pinch of nutmeg.
  • 50 grams of hazelnuts.

Onions are peeled, cut in any way. Best half rings, so it cooks faster. In a saucepan, heat the vegetable oil, fry the onion in it for 2-3 minutes. Add the corn. They hold it for another five minutes, after which they reduce the fire and add milk. Such a soup of corn must be salted to taste.

When twenty minutes have passed after boiling, nutmeg is introduced. After being removed from the heat, beat with a blender. If the soup is too thick, add more milk. With this method of grinding, the consistency is heterogeneous. Additionally, it can be wiped through a sieve.

Hazelnuts are fried in a dry pan. Grind in a mortar. Lay out the corn soup in portions, add a spoonful of crushed hazelnuts to each.

To prepare such a dish a lot of time is not required. For this delicious soup, just take:

  • 300 grams of corn;
  • a pair of potato tubers;
  • 150 ml cream;
  • some salt;
  • onion;
  • cooking oil.

Corn is taken out of the can, a few seeds are left for decoration. The rest are washed. Liquid is not used. Vegetable oil is heated in a stew-pan, finely chopped onion is fried. When it begins to darken, add spices. The potatoes are peeled and diced, sent to the pan to the onion. Pour boiling water (approximately 100 ml), cover and simmer.

Using a blender, corn is mashed. When the water in the pan boils, add the mashed corn. Stew under the lid until the potatoes are ready. After removed from the stove, turn the mixture into a puree using a blender.

A liter of water is boiled, poured into a pan, mashed vegetables are added. Bring the mass to a boil, then introduce the cream. Bring to a boil and remove the pan from the stove. Allow to stand under the lid for about five minutes. Serve soup, decorating with grains.

Coconut Milk Soup

Many people think that soup should not be sweet. But this recipe will change your mind dramatically. After all, it feels pleasant notes of sweet corn, as well as gentle coconut milk.

To prepare the soup of corn puree you need to take:

  • a pair of ears of corn;
  • onion;
  • a couple of cloves of garlic;
  • 400 ml of coconut milk;
  • one potato tuber;
  • a couple of tablespoons of vegetable oil;
  • half a teaspoon of turmeric;
  • some salt;
  • water.

If desired, you can use your favorite spices and fresh herbs to decorate the soup. Garlic will add piquancy. It can be replaced with a pair of a pinch of hot cayenne pepper. This combination of sweetness and pungency will appeal to many.

In a thick-bottomed pan, heat the vegetable oil. Peel and finely chop the onion, fry in oil. Add chopped garlic.

Corn is peeled, cobs are chopped coarsely. Grains and ears are sent to the pan. Add peeled and coarsely chopped potatoes. Pour water. The liquid should completely cover the vegetables. Half of coconut milk is poured, salted. Bring to a boil and cook for another fifteen minutes until the potatoes are ready. A couple of minutes before the readiness, the ears are taken out, turmeric is added to the soup.

Then remove the pan from the heat, add the remaining milk and beat everything with a blender into a homogeneous mass. After you can rub the soup through a sieve, then the soup will be really tender. When serving, decorate the soup with a sprig of fresh herbs.
