Structure
As an active substance in the composition of an antithrombolytic, heparin is used. The composition of the ointment for external use and rectal suppositories contains sodium heparin, prednisone acetate and lauromacrogol.

Dexpanthenol is necessary for better absorption of heparin and healing of damaged vessels. A substance such as allantoin has an anti-inflammatory effect and accelerates metabolic processes in the cells of blood vessels.

How to use?
The use of hepatrombin gel is possible only as prescribed by the phlebologist. You can apply the product only on affected areas of the skin. In this case, it is necessary to squeeze from the tube a strip of gel with a length of not more than 5 cm. The product is evenly distributed over the inflamed area and left for 7-10 minutes until the medicine is completely absorbed. The procedure is repeated 2-3 times a day.
During the treatment of thrombophlebitis, the gel is applied to the skin and is not rubbed. From above it is recommended to apply a sterile napkin, bandage it and leave it in this form for the whole night. On trophic ulcers, the drug is applied in a circle and bandaged. This dressing must be changed every 6 hours.

Contraindications
