Egonil. Instructions for use, dosage and contraindications

The active ingredient of the Eglonil preparation is sulpiride, a benzamide antipsychotic with moderate antipsychotic activity. This pharmaceutical agent has a stimulating, antidepressant effect on the body.

"Eglonil" (instructions indicate) in the central nervous system blocks dopaminergic receptors that are in the limbic system. To achieve the antipsychotic effect, the optimal dose of sulpiride is more than 600 mg. A dose of up to 600 mg is prescribed in order to obtain a stimulating, antidepressant effect.

In reduced doses, sulpiride is additionally administered in the treatment of diseases of a psychosomatic nature. "Eglonil", the instruction indicates, effectively stops the negative manifestations of gastric ulcer. In patients with irritable bowel syndrome who take sulpiride, a decrease in the intensity of abdominal pain is observed.

At low doses, sulpiride (50-300 mg) eliminates dizziness.
