Marble cake: photo and recipe

Marble cake is one of the favorite treats not only for children but also for adults. It is noteworthy that such a dessert can be made dietary, with gelatin and even without baking at all.

Classic Marble Cake

To bake a biscuit you will need:

  • 6 eggs;
  • 200 grams of powdered sugar;
  • 230 g of sifted wheat flour.

The sponge cake dough is very simple to prepare. Eggs beat with powdered sugar. Stir continuously for 8 minutes. Then flour is added to the mixture. The baking dish is greased with butter. Parchment is laid on top and smeared again. The dough is poured into the mold and baked in the oven (preheated to 180 degrees) for 25 minutes.

Cream for the cake can be done by anyone. The most commonly used creamy. It will require:

  • 4 tablespoons of cream (possible with high fat content);
  • 150 g of white chocolate;
  • two hundred grams of butter;
  • 80 g of powdered sugar.

First, chocolate is melted in a water bath. Cream is added to it and heated slightly with chocolate. Then everything is mixed and cooled. Then 15 minutes, icing sugar is whipped with butter.

The result is two separate masses. Chocolate begins to be added to the butter one in a spoon. Each is followed by stirring. After 5 tablespoons, the rest of the chocolate mass is added. The cream is thoroughly mixed.

Impregnation

So that the marble cake does not turn out to be dry, impregnation is added. It is made from tea, lemon juice and sugar. If the cake is prepared only for adults, then you can add a little alcohol. For impregnation, 1 tea bag is poured with 100 ml of boiling water. It adds 2 tbsp. l sugar and 1 tbsp. l squeezed from lemon fresh juice. Then the cakes are thoroughly soaked.

Decoration

For decoration in a water bath, three types of chocolate dissolve: white, brown and black. They are mixed and while cooling slightly, a cake is formed. If one and a thick cake is baked, it is cut in half. Both sections are filled with impregnation and smeared with cream. Then the cakes are combined. Top and sides of the cake are coated with cream. The sides are decorated with whole (or large pieces) nuts. And on top of the cream, a chocolate mixture is poured.

Gluten Marble Cake

Marble cake (recipe according to Ducane) can be made on gluten (gluten). The baked goods turn out magnificent and similar to a biscuit. Ingredients:

  • two eggs;
  • 3 tbsp. l nonfat yogurt without additives;
  • 2 tbsp. l loose sugar substitute;
  • 4 tbsp. l chopped bran;
  • a little more than 1 tbsp. l corn starch;
  • 2 tbsp. l gluten free;
  • two thirds of tsp soda;
  • 2 tsp plain cocoa powder.

For cream, you need fat-free cottage cheese and a sugar substitute. Cooking cakes: all ingredients from the list (except cocoa) mix well until smooth. It is divided into two equal parts. Cocoa powder is poured into one of them. The cake mold is covered with oiled parchment paper, on which dough from containers is poured alternately. As a result, a marble pattern is formed.

The form is sent to the oven, preheated to 180 degrees. Marble cake is baked no more than half an hour. Readiness is checked with a knife or a toothpick. If the dough doesnโ€™t stick to them, then you can get the cake. The cake is cut in half. Both parts are abundantly soaked in cream. For its preparation, just curd and sweetener are whipped. The cake should be cooled for an hour, then sprinkled with fat-free cocoa.

Dessert without baking

Marble cake with gelatin can be made without baking. This will require:

  • 500 g low-fat cottage cheese;
  • 500 g of sour cream (15 percent);
  • 40 g of gelatin;
  • 100 ml of milk;
  • 3 tbsp. l cocoa;
  • a glass of granulated sugar;
  • 2 tsp regular instant coffee.

The dough for the cake is made without adding flour. Cottage cheese is mixed with sour cream and sugar. The resulting mixture is whipped in a blender. Gelatin is briefly soaked in cold water, during which time the milk is heated. A swollen gelatin mass is added to it. The mixture is mixed and set to heat on low heat until the gelatin is completely dissolved. It is impossible to bring the mass to a boil.

Then the gelatin mixture is added to the curd mass and mixed well. It is divided into three parts. In the first, cocoa powder is added, in the second - coffee slightly diluted with water, and in the third - vanillin. The cake mold is covered with cling film, onto which the tablespoon mixture is laid out alternately. It is possible in layers or in a chaotic order. Marble cake is refrigerated for five hours until gelatin is completely frozen. Then it gets out and turns onto the dish. The cling film is removed.

Cooking secrets

If you are not satisfied with cocoa, then you can use ordinary food colors. When lemon is added to baking, the taste of the cake is more balanced and not sweetly sweet. Instead of cream, curd cream is often used. These components are absorbed very quickly by the body and contain the necessary phosphorus, calcium and iron. In addition, cottage cheese improves vision and is useful during the growth of the body.
