Pumpkin pies, the recipe for which is very simple, can be made from any base. We decided to use regular dough on eggs and water. This base, fried in a pan, will turn out lush and crispy. To knead it, you need to combine fresh milk and drinking water, and then break the eggs into them, add salt, granulated sugar, baking soda and wheat flour. As a result, you should get a pretty cool dough, well away from the hands. So that it reaches the desired consistency, it is recommended to wrap it in a bag and set aside while preparing the filling.
If you follow the rules for kneading the base, you will definitely get delicious and crispy pumpkin pies. The recipe for this dish also includes the following ingredients:
- granulated sugar - 1.5 large spoons;
- small onion bulb - 1 pc.;
- small fresh pumpkin - 1 pc.;
- sunflower oil - for frying (add at your own discretion).
Heat treatment of vegetables
Before you cook pies with pumpkin, you should well process the main vegetable. To do this, peel a small pumpkin from seeds and peel, and then grate it on a large grater. After this, it is necessary to finely chop the small onion and send it to the pan along with the chopped vegetable. Both ingredients should be fried over low heat with a little oil. This procedure can be carried out using an ordinary glass. Next, in the center of one circle, you need to lay out 2 dessert spoons of the filling, and then put a second piece of dough and beautifully connect the edges, crushing them with a fork.
