So, today we will cook potatoes in bacon in the oven. There are many modifications of this dish, because each housewife uses her own tricks to make it even more tasty and satisfying.
The classic recipe is generally extremely simple. You will need only two ingredients: in fact, the potato itself (about 1.5-2 kilograms), as well as one package of chopped bacon (about 200 grams).
Potatoes, of course, need to be washed and peeled. Next, each fruit should be wrapped in a piece of bacon. So that the potatoes in the bacon in the oven bake well and do not break up, you can fix the meat with a toothpick. And too long pieces of bacon, in turn, can be wrapped with a โroseโ.
Then you need to put all this on a baking sheet, and close tightly with a special food foil on top. Put the pan in the oven, preheated to two hundred degrees, for about 40-45 minutes.
As you can see, everything is very simple. However, you can complicate this recipe a bit and cook, for example, potatoes in bacon and cheese. To do this, it is best to take processed cheese in plates.
Before baking potatoes, it must be boiled in their uniforms (without peeling). You can check the readiness by piercing the vegetables with a fork: if it passes easily, you can proceed to the next stages of preparation, and if the action requires some effort, you need to leave the potatoes to boil a little more. After the potato is ready, it needs to be slightly cooled and peeled. Next, each fruit must be cut in half, put a plate of cheese on one of the halves, and then cover it with the other half on the other side. As in the first recipe, after that each potato needs to be wrapped with a ribbon of bacon.
Before you start cooking potatoes in bacon in the oven according to this recipe, you need to line the baking sheet with
parchment paper so that the meat does not burn. And on top of the bacon, a small piece of butter should be put on each potato. The oven, again, should be heated to two hundred degrees. But the time required for baking, in this case will be much less (after all, the potatoes are already ready) - about 15 minutes. The cheese should melt during this time, and the bacon should be a little toasted.
There is another interesting recipe that will allow you to cook delicious stuffed potatoes wrapped in bacon. To do this, you will need the following ingredients: 6-8 large potatoes, 150 g of cheese, 200-300 g of mushrooms, onion, 1 tablespoon of sour cream, milk, bacon, spices, salt, dill.
Thoroughly washed potatoes should be cut lengthwise into two halves and, after salting, sent to boil in a saucepan. When the finished potato has cooled slightly, you will need to remove the core with a teaspoon. But do not throw away skins - they will be needed later. In a bowl, adding a little milk to the potato pulp, you need to make mashed potatoes.
Then you can do mushrooms. The most delicious potato in the bacon in the oven will turn out if you take the forest. They must be washed well, cut into pieces and fry with a chopped beam in a pan. 5 minutes before they are completely ready, you need to add sour cream to them, and then mix.
Ready mushrooms should be mixed with mashed potatoes and grate a piece of cheese in the same bowl. Then it remains to pour only chopped dill, and then thoroughly mix the filling. Finally, she needs to stuff potato skins. You will get a kind of "boat" with a filling. Each of them must be wrapped in a sheet of bacon, put on a baking sheet, which put in the oven for 15-25 minutes.
