For the first time in the Supernatural series, Colt appears in the twentieth episode of season one. Then the vampires in the house of the hunter, a certain Daniel Elkins, find weapons. At the same time, John Winchester receives a letter from him describing the gun and bullets to it. In it, the man asks him to take the Colt from the evil forces in order to use it in the future.
Later, Winchester himself told the story of the creation of a revolver. It was in 1835, when Halley's comet cut the sky with its radiance. It was at this time that Samuel Colt custom-made an unknown hunter created a special type of weapon with thirteen bullets. The customer used only half, and later disappeared. According to legend, a revolver can kill any creature.
Characteristics
In a multi-part picture called “Supernatural,” the colt had two beneficial properties. The first was to kill any creatures from the other world, and the second - to open the Gates of Hell. The weapon was used instead of the key, which was later learned by the main characters. When the main cartridges ran out to the revolver, I had to look for a replacement. Modification on the use of any type of bullets managed to make the demon Ruby.
It is known that in the series "Supernatural", the colt has come a long way until it fell into the hands of the main characters - the brothers Sam and Dean Winchester, who are hunters of evil creatures from other worlds. Appearance
In the photo, the Colt from "Supernatural" has some differences from the usual revolver. The pen is decorated with a carved pentagram handmade, this can be seen from sloppy strokes. The trigger mechanism is decorated with unusual engraving, which was not done specifically on conventional pistols of this brand. The trunk is marked with an inscription in Latin, which means "I will not be afraid of evil." This symbolism hints at the purpose of the Colt - to fight with otherworldly creatures that threaten the world of people. The demon Ruby also carried a special knife with this revolver, but the cannon was stronger in the fight.
With the help of Colt, you can injure and even kill the highest demons like Alastar or Azazel. Even Lucifer himself knew about these weapons; he mentioned this when he saw him. The former archangel said that his bullets cannot kill only five creatures, including himself. This is the only negative of this revolver, which the brothers discovered.
Using
Although the Colt from Supernatural often appeared on the screen, no name was given to this weapon. It was simply named after the manufacturer, but the model was clearly different from other revolvers. At first, the brothers shot him exclusively to fight the higher demons, since there were a limited number of bullets. A more active use began after the creation of the original bullets according to the recipe of the Ruby demon. In the first season, they tried to kill Azazel from him, in the second, Sam exchanged Dean's soul as a key to the Gates of Hell, and the whole struggle in the last episodes was spinning on this. Weapons were actively used in the plot until the sixth season, and later returned in the twelfth. After that, a new interest erupted among fans for unusual weapons.
