In Tolstoy’s good book “The Golden Key, or The Adventures of Pinocchio”, the main characters were dolls, and the only girl to live for a long time in the hearts of boys around the world was Malvina, an ambiguous and somewhat contradictory character. Indeed, it was she who zealously agitates for teaching and washing her hands, tames the obstinate Pinocchio, but so sincerely rejoices at the opening of a good puppet theater without cruel Karabas at the head. Each writer in his own way interpreted the ambiguous image of a forest beauty. So, V. Propp generally drew parallels with the character of Baba Yaga, since Malvina also watered and feeds the protagonist, after which she dictates her conditions. Among the Slavs, blue hair color was considered a bad sign, as it was associated with the habitats of evil spirits.
"Talking" name
In general, this is a Germanic name, in translation it means "justice" and comes from the name of the mallow flower. Sometimes this flower grows as a weed, but it is very beautiful and unusual.

But Tanya Protsenko, who played the doll, fell on this role absolutely by accident. If it were not for the acquaintance with the assistant director, then the whole country would have a different Malvina.
The actress, at the age of 8, underwent complex screenings and was approved for the role by Leonid Nechaev, the director of the film. Before filming, another trouble fell on little Tanya - milk teeth fell out. The deadlines were burning, and I had to turn to the dentist for help. Malvina's perfect white teeth are his job. So for Tatiana a dream came true, albeit a childhood one. Malvina woke up famous. After “Pinocchio” there could be shootings in the film “About Little Red Riding Hood”. The script was written specifically for Tatiana, but fate intervened - Tanya was hospitalized with a concussion. I didn’t have to act in films anymore because of the unfortunate injury, so the girl changed her profession.
