Musician Tim Makilroth was born in the United States, Indianapolis, on November 3, 1978. This composer and songwriter also realized himself as a guitarist and vocalist. He is one of the founders of the punk rock band Rise Against. The musician is active in supporting animal rights; he is helping PETA. Together with Joe Principe, bassist for Rise Against, and guitarist Zack Blair, the composer joined a movement called Straight edge. Biography
Tim Makilrot is a man with eyes of different colors: blue and brown, so he was often teased in childhood. When the future musician was a teenager, many of his friends were engaged in snowboarding, so he saved up money for snowboarding. At the same time, the young man's interest in music grew, and he decided to purchase the Gibson SG guitar for the funds raised.
In his youth, the future composer read a number of dystopian novels, and among them was the work of George Orwell "1984" and Aldous Huxley's "Oh Brave New World." Subsequently, these books influenced the work of the musician. Tim McElroth attended a school in Rolling Meadows, Illinois.
In 2011, she turned into a movie set on which a video was made for the song Make it Stop. This work was included in the second single of the sixth album of the group Rise Against. She became the reaction of the team members to the increasing suicides among homosexual teenagers who were driven to despair by their peers.
The young man became a student at Northeastern University of Illinois. He specialized in sociology and English. At the concert, Tim met Joe Principe. He asked the young man to perform several songs, which he recorded at the same time. A little later, the young man left college, as the Rise Against team was born.
Creation
Tim Makilrot began his musical career in his youth. His name was well known by representatives of the local alternative punk and rock scene. The first group of the musician was the post-hardcore team Baxter. In it, a young man played in 1995 - 1999.
Neil Hennessey, the future drummer of The Lawrence Arms, and Jeff Reu, the future bass player of Holy Roman Empire and The Killing Tree, participated in this group. In 1996, the guys recorded a cassette album called Troy's Bucket. The audience warmly welcomed this work, and Baxter turned into a popular group in the Chicago underground.
However, the team broke up, making only a few local tours. In 1998, Tim began playing bass on the Chicago band Arma Angelus. He did this until 1999. Then Tim became one of the founders of the Transistor Revolt team. The latter, ultimately, turned into a group Rise Against, which included 19 clips, 15 singles, 4 mini-albums and 7 studio works.
Personal life
Tim Makilroth, together with his wife Erin, is raising two daughters Scarlet and Blythe. They live in Illinois at Arlington Heights. Tim, like his family, is a vegan.
