Potato stew with meat is a hearty dish and ideal for lunch and dinner. Given the season, it has its own zest. For example, summer stew is lighter. In addition to potatoes and onions, seasonal vegetables are present in it. Potato stew with meat and zucchini will be delicious. It is customary to cook a winter version of a dish with vegetables of long storage. You can take any meat. However, most often prefer chicken and pork meat. Potato stew with any of them will be incredibly tasty.

Most of all it is suitable for a table in the winter season, as it turns out to be more bold and satisfying. For the dish, it is preferable to use pork belly.

List of required ingredients:

  • pork - 500 g;
  • potatoes - 7 pcs.;
  • carrots - 2 pcs.;
  • onion - 2 pcs.;
  • margarine - 50 g;
  • flour - 1 tbsp. l .;
  • water - 1 l;
  • salt, ground pepper - to taste;
  • tomato paste - 4 tbsp. l

As for the last ingredient, a thicker product is recommended for potato stew with meat and vegetables.

To make the dish tasty, you must follow the sequence:

  1. Before starting to cook potato stew, the pork meat must be washed and cut into medium-sized cubes.
  2. Fry it at a moderate temperature. No fat or oil is needed. Roasting lasts at least ten minutes.
  3. Now we pour a liter of boiling water into the dish with meat, introduce the whole tomato and continue to simmer the dish at a low temperature for 15-20 minutes.
  4. The meat prepared in this way is sent to the main dish in which stew will be cooked.

Do not discard what is left of the meat after stewing - on this we will make the sauce. Sequence:

  1. In a hot dry frying pan, bring the flour to a light golden hue. It will take about a minute.
  2. This flour is carefully introduced into the liquid and mixed. Try to avoid lumps.
  3. Add salt and pepper to this. Boil red sauce over low heat for about five to seven minutes.

Now prepare the vegetables for the stew:

  1. Peel the carrots, onions and potatoes.
  2. Cut root vegetables into medium slices. Carrots can be grated, and onions - cut into rings or half rings.
  3. Melt margarine in a hot pan. Fry the onions for a minute.
  4. Add carrots and potatoes. We fry root vegetables for fifteen minutes, not forgetting the stirring.

Add semi-finished vegetables to the pot with meat. Pour the sauce, then pour the composition with a glass of boiling water. Cover the dishes and simmer the dish for another half hour.

This dish pleases with a variety of vegetables and it turns out very tender. Before proceeding with its preparation, you need to prepare the following products:

  • pork - 400 g;
  • potato - 4 pcs.;
  • small zucchini - 1 pc.;
  • carrots - 1 pc.;
  • onion - 1 pc.;
  • tomato - 5 tbsp. l .;
  • garlic - 3 cloves;
  • vegetable oil - 4 tbsp. l .;
  • laurel leaf - 1 pc.;
  • salt and other spices to taste.

Cooking potato stew with meat: recipe

First, prepare all the vegetables - peel and wash them. Mix in a deep plate tomato sauce, squeezed through a press of garlic, salt and pepper. Dilute the composition with 1.5 cups of cool boiled water.

Fry the meat cubes in a skillet with vegetable oil until half cooked. Put it in another dish for further cooking. Sliced โ€‹โ€‹carrots and potatoes fried until golden brown in the same pan. Put the root vegetables in the pan, where the pork is. Again, use the pan - fry the chopped zucchini on it. We shift to the pan. Finely chop the onion and fall asleep to the rest of the ingredients without subjecting it to heat treatment.

Pour the contents of the pan with tomato sauce, which was stirred first. The liquid should hide all products, so add more water if necessary. Now we introduce salt and pepper. Mix future potato stew with meat. Stew at medium temperature until the potatoes are fully cooked. This will take about 30 minutes. Keep the lid closed during cooking. Stir the contents of the pan periodically.
