The drug "Cerebrolysin", the instruction for which recommends using it for intramuscular and intravenous administration, is available in the form of an aqueous solution. It is sold in ampoules (1, 5, 10 ml) and bottles (30, 50 ml). The solution is amber, transparent. 1 ml contains a complex of peptides extracted from the brain of a pig. With a stroke (residual period), traumatic brain damage, the drug is administered intravenously in 5-10 ml for 20-30 days.

In case of depression and psycho-organic syndrome - 5-10 ml intravenously for 20-25 days (for dementia), 10-15 days (for depression).

Neuropediatric practice - intramuscularly 1-2 ml for thirty days. Repeat this course two to three times a year.
