Dominic Zardi is a French actor who has performed roles in such famous films as Fantomas, Two in the City, Fantomas vs. Scotland Yard. The first role he played in 1958, the last in 2007. Throughout his life, the actor carried a love of boxing. By the number of roles, he is included in the list of the most productive actors of France of all time.

The actor was born on March 2, 1930 in Paris. In his youth he was engaged in professional boxing. Cinema became his main profession and way of earning only in 1958, when he first participated in the filming of the film. The progressive movement from small roles to large ones did not happen for Dominic Zardi, for several decades he received the role of an episode. Sometimes his hero did not say a word, and very often it happened that his last name was not listed in the credits. Nevertheless, Dominic Zardi was a sought-after actor, he was known and loved by the audience, he played roles in 500 films. Without a catchy appearance, he still knew how to draw attention to the hero he played.

Dominique Zardi was lucky to work with the best French directors - Andre Yunebel, Pierre Granier Defer, Jean-Pierre Mokki. Director Claude Chabrol, working on each of his new films, always called for help from this actor. It so happened that not one of his films was shot without the participation of Zardi. The actor was remembered by the viewer (including the Russian one) for his roles in films:

The life of the actor was associated not only with the movie. He worked as an editor for Sports and Entertainment, in which he tracked, commented, and analyzed boxing competitions. He was engaged in writing, succeeding in writing novels, some of which became popular, and not only in his homeland. For example, the novel "The groom wore a white dress." In addition, he showed his musical talent, becoming a composer of the paintings “The Scream of Owls” and “Madame Bovary”.

Dominic Zardi died of cancer at the age of 79 in 2009.

This is a criminal thriller about a certain Gaspard who has fallen into prison cells where he meets four friends. Things are progressing little by little, with the expansion of the opening in the wall, the prisoners' confidence that their plan will work will increase.

In the same year, Dominic Zardi, whose films won several times at various film festivals, played in the historical drama Austerlitz. This picture tells of the battle of 1805, when Napoleon’s army entered into a confrontation with the Russian-Austrian army, twice its superior in human strength. This is a film about the famous designer Paul Tissier. In the life of this woman there is a love triangle, where, in addition to her, there are two men: Lovelace Roger Demar and a rich young rake, suitable for her sons by age, passionately in love with her. This French-American project received one of the awards at the Cannes Film Festival of that year.

In the same period, actor Dominic Zardi played in the movie Jean-Luc Godard "Woman is Woman." This is a comedy melodrama, in which the main roles were played by Jean-Claude Brialie and Anna Karina, tells about the girl Angela, passionately dreaming of becoming a mother. In 2005, the actor played in the film Love for Three. This is a comedy melodrama in which the main role was played by Jean Dujardin, about two partners and friends, Pole and Franke, working in the police.
