Jenny Lucas was born in the USA. Her father was the owner of a bookstore. And parents from childhood instilled in their daughter a love of books. True, for reading classical works, father paid Jenny a dollar for each book. But even without money she was fond of literature, but adventure. Lucas room was covered with tourist advertising landscapes. Jenny's mother from childhood tried to instill in her daughter a love of foreign languages. Therefore, she often spoke in French with her.
Youth
At 15, Jenny Lucas went to Connecticut to a boarding school. But her studies were not interesting to her, and soon she left her. And immediately went to realize her dream - to travel around America and Europe. Jenny tried to live on her own money. During temporary stops, she moonlighted as an advertising agent or a cashier at gas stations. But Lucas nevertheless took up her education, and at 22, she graduated from a university in Kent with a philologist degree.
Creation
Travel inspired the girl to write novels. After Jenny Lucas got married, she decided to satisfy her passion for wandering, having tried herself as a writer. And the first novel became very glamorous and exciting - the vengeance of the child of a Greek millionaire.
In 2003, Jenny became a finalist of the Golden Heart Award, established for the Union of American Romantic Writers. And in 2005, the prize was awarded to Lucas. In 2010, the story about the Christmas child of love was recognized as the best modern romantic work of the year.
Jenny Lucas, whose novels are easy to read, writes in the style of modern fairy tales for women.
