Pyelitis is an inflammation of the renal pelvis. Symptoms, causes, changes in the composition of urine are almost similar to those with the development of pyelonephritis. The main difference is that with pyelonephritis, a larger volume of renal tissue is involved in the pathological process.

Cystitis
Cystitis is an infectious process in the bladder. The main complaints with cystitis are severe pain and pain during urination, frequent urge for it, and heaviness in the lower abdomen. Features of the use of uroseptics
The selection of plant uroseptic is carried out in accordance with the sensitivity of the pathogen, individual tolerance, concomitant disease and many other factors.
If there is a long-term therapy, a change of funds is carried out every 10 days, which is done in order to prevent the resistance of microorganisms to the drug. This rule in some cases does not apply to plant uroseptics, which can be applied for several months in a row. Herbal medicines are compatible with all chemically created medicines.

"Kanefron N"
The first place in the ranking is taken by the drug "Kanefron N". It is a medication based on natural substances that is prescribed to patients in the treatment of pathologies of the kidneys and urinary tract.
This medicine is produced in the form of an orange-colored dragee for oral use, 20 in a blister, 3 blisters in a cardboard box. The composition of one tablet contains the following active elements:
- centaury grass;
- roots lovage officinalis;
- rosemary leaves.
In addition, in the composition of this pharmacological preparation from the list of plant uroseptics, there are additional substances: corn oil, povidone, lactose, corn starch, titanium dioxide.
"Kanefron N" is an uroseptic based on natural plant elements and has antispasmodic and anti-inflammatory properties. Due to the components present in the drug, it has a complex effect on the body: relieves pain caused by the inflammatory process, improves urine outflow, and relieves cramps.
The drug contains biologically active substances that have an antibacterial effect and a detrimental effect on pathogenic microflora.
This medication is prescribed to patients with the following pathologies:
- inflammatory process in the bladder in a chronic course;
- pyelonephritis and glomerulonephritis in a chronic form;
- impaired urine outflow caused by the presence of calculi and microcrystals in the ureters.
Also, this medicine is prescribed to patients in order to prevent the formation of stones after surgical or ultrasonic removal of them from the kidneys or urinary canals.
Despite the herbal composition of the Kanefron N product, these dragees can only be used after making sure that there are no contraindications, which include:
- age up to 6 years;
- intolerance to the components of a pharmacological agent;
- allergic reactions to plants from the composition (history).
Adult patients are prescribed 2 tablets of the drug 3 times a day. For children after 6 years, the daily dosage is determined by the doctor, however, it does not exceed 3 tablets per day. If necessary, treatment of children under 6 years of age is prescribed the drug "Kanefron" in the form of drops.
Treatment with the drug during first trimester pregnancy is not carried out. Further this is possible under the supervision of a specialist.
The medication is well tolerated, however, in very rare cases, the development of side effects can be observed:
- allergic rashes, itching, dry skin;
- diarrhea, nausea, increased gas formation;
- anaphylactic shock in people with a history of severe allergies.
Urolesan
In second place in the ranking of "Urolesan". This drug is a plant-based uroseptic. It contains the following elements:
- wild carrot seed extract;
- hop cone extract;
- oregano extract;
- peppermint oil;
- fir oil.
The composition also contains some additional substances - magnesium hydroxycarbonate, lactose monohydrate, castor oil, magnesium aluminometasilicate, talc, potato starch, disodium edetate dihydrate.
This medication has anti-inflammatory, antispasmodic, antiseptic effect, enhances bile excretion and bile formation, increases urine output, increases the release of chlorides and urea, acidifies urine.
This drug is used in the treatment of chronic and acute infections of the kidneys and urinary tract (cystitis, pyelonephritis), with urolithiasis and cholelithiasis, chronic cholecystitis, and narrowing of the bile ducts of the hyperkinetic type.
The drug is taken orally by 1 capsule 3 times a day. With the development of renal or hepatic colic, a single dosage can be increased to 2 capsules, on subsequent returns to the standard single dose.
The drug from the list of plant uroseptics is also able to cause some adverse reactions:
- dyspeptic symptoms (nausea, heartburn, vomiting, diarrhea);
- allergy - itching, redness of the skin, rash, Quincke's edema (sore throat, difficulty breathing, swelling of the tongue, tongue);
- dizziness, weakness;
- change in blood pressure.
Contraindications to this medication are:
- sensitivity to drug substances;
- lactose intolerance, lactase deficiency;
- hyperacid gastritis, gastric ulcer;
- size of kidney stones more than 3 mm;
- under 18 years old.
"Fitolizin"
In third place in the ranking is Fitolizin. The tool is a uroseptic of plant origin of a combined nature, which has diuretic and antispasmodic therapeutic effects, helps to dissolve stones in the structures of the urogenital pathways. It is used in the treatment of pathological processes in the urinary organs, namely, urolithiasis.
This medication is made in the form of a paste intended for the preparation of suspensions for oral administration. It has a brown color, a specific smell and a soft texture. The composition of this medicine includes several active elements:
- sage oil;
- peppermint oil;
- pine oil.
The composition of plant-based uroseptics also contains a concentrated extract of a mixture of plants, which includes parsley roots, leaves of the mountaineer bird, rhizomes of wheatgrass, onion husks, fenugreek seeds, orange oil, birch leaves, and lovage roots.
Also, the composition of the medication, in addition to the main ones, includes additional substances, which include glycerol, agar-agar, wheat starch, vanillin, ethyl parahydroxybenzoate. The paste is made in aluminum tubes
The medicine "Fitolizin" has several therapeutic effects:
- diuretic effect - strengthening the processes of formation and excretion of urine;
- antispasmodic effect - reducing the tone of the walls of the hollow channels of the urinary system with the expansion of their gaps;
- lowering the level of crystallization of salts, dissolution of the precipitate;
- anti-inflammatory effect - a decrease in the severity of inflammatory reactions in the mucous membranes of the urinary organs.

The main medical indication for taking the Fitolizin medication is the complex therapy of infectious and inflammatory pathologies of the urinary organs, as well as nephrolithiasis (the formation of insoluble stones in the structures of these organs).

The average dosage is one teaspoon of pasta dissolved in half a glass of sweet water. It is necessary to take such a solution in 3-4 doses during the day. The duration of the course of therapy can vary from two weeks to one and a half months.
In general, the Fitolizin paste is well perceived by the body, however, allergic reactions and nausea may occur while taking the drug.
Also, uroseptics in homeopathy are very popular. Such drugs can be used by all categories of patients, including children, the elderly, pregnant and lactating women.
Tiger lily is recommended for those people who are forced to stay in a cool room for a long time due to the nature of their activity. This drug will relieve pain that occurs when urinating. Staphysagria will help to cope with the exacerbation of cystitis that occurs after sexual intercourse.
Shpansky fly is used for inflammation, burning and cutting pain. This tool is especially recommended for those patients in whom the disease causes severe nervousness and irritability.

Uroseptics for children
If the symptoms of inflammation of the kidneys or bladder in a child are weak, then with therapy you can do exclusively with plant-based uroseptics, which are often allowed for use in childhood.
