Barbecue chicken

Probably everyone likes kebab. However, it is not always possible to go outdoors to enjoy this delicious dish. In addition, it is not necessary to use lamb or pork for it, chicken is also suitable. Cook the kebab in the chicken oven, and the result will certainly delight you.

Take 1 kg of chicken, 150 g of kefir, a pinch of saffron, a tablespoon of salt, a tablespoon of ground coriander, a teaspoon of cumin (zira), the same amount of turmeric, 60 g of butter, half a lemon.

Chicken should be cut into cubes, the sides of which should be about three centimeters or a little larger.

Grind coriander, salt, turmeric and zira in a mortar.

Pour kefir into a large bowl (another sour-milk unsweetened product, such as Ayran, is also suitable), add spices to it and mix thoroughly. Put the chicken in kefir and mix everything thoroughly with your hands. Leave the chicken to marinate for at least one hour, at most - for six hours. You should not leave it for a longer period, because otherwise the acidic environment will bring the meat to a state of completely tasteless cotton wool.

Then it is necessary to grind a pinch of salt with saffron in a mortar, add 60 ml of enough hot water and leave to stand for about ten minutes.

Melt the butter over low heat. Squeeze the juice of half a lemon there and mix with water infused with saffron.

If you want to cook kebab in the oven from chicken according to this recipe, then pickled chicken should be strung on skewers tightly enough, and put them on the wire rack and put in the oven. When the marinade is set on one side, the kebabs must be turned over and the already fried portion greased with a mixture of oil with lemon and saffron. Kebabs should be fried until golden brown. Barbecue cooked in this way in the chicken oven will have a wonderful taste and aroma.

Still great is the barbecue in the oven in the sleeve.

To cook chicken skewers in the sleeve, you need 1.5 kg of chicken, leek, cilantro, 100 ml of red wine, salt, lemon, pepper.

The meat should be cut into large pieces and put them in a pan.

Add lemons and onions, cut into rings, chopped cilantro, pepper and salt the wine.

Leave for marinating for 4 hours.

Then the meat with onions should be strung on skewers and put them in a sleeve, lemon slices should be put on top of the meat.

The sleeve must be tied and put in the oven for about 1 hour, then you need to cut the sleeve so that the meat is slightly browned. This kebab will be tender and juicy.

You can also cook kebabs in the oven from chicken using chicken thighs.

Marinade to taste. You can, for example, prepare a marinade from a mixture of mayonnaise, mustard, mineral water, soy sauce, garlic, onions and spices to taste.

The onion should be cut into half rings, and then it should be slightly mashed with your hands so that it gives juice, after that we add portioned chicken pieces to the marinade, mix, then add all the other components. The marinade should cover all the meat. Put everything in the refrigerator so that the chicken is infused in the marinade. You can marinate for several hours.

To recreate the summer environment, you must use vegetables, such as bell peppers and cherry tomatoes. Pepper should be cut quite large, and the tomatoes are left in their entirety.

We take skewers or suitable sticks, we put on them all the components of the future barbecue - first pepper, then chicken, then tomato, then chicken again, we finish everything with pepper again.

Since when cooking the kebab it will be sprayed and dripped, the kebab can be placed in a pan so that it does not touch its bottom.

That's it, now you can put the future dish in a well-preheated oven in advance.

We close the oven and wait for the results, sometimes remembering to turn on blowing (if it is in your oven) - to give our barbecue the necessary color and a golden crust.

The whole frying process takes about thirty minutes. The main thing if you cook chicken kebab in the oven is not to dry it!

We lay the finished barbecue on plates, decorate with dill, cilantro, parsley - and bon appetit!
