Alexander Milyutin was born in 1946 in the glorious city of Odessa.

Why Alexander chose exactly the acting profession is unknown. But in 1965 he went to Moscow to enter the theater. Milyutin was enrolled in VGIK, which the actor graduated in 1969.

After the distribution, Alexander was accepted into the acting staff of the Kiev film studio named after Dovzhenko. Information about whether the artist played in any theater or not, was left.

Early film work

Alexander Milyutin did not wait for graduation and began acting in films in the 3rd year of study. The first work, which replenished his filmography, is the role of the prisoner in the military drama "Unforgettable". The picture was shot at Mosfilm based on the stories of Alexander Dovzhenko.

In the same year, the artist appeared in 2 more films: he played a buyer of pies in the comedy "Fidgets" and an inconspicuous role in the movie "Wedding Bells".

In 1968, Milyutin’s creative baggage was replenished with 3 new paintings, among which the comedy of Mikhail Schweitzer “The Golden Calf”, based on the novel of the same name by Ilf and Petrov, deserves special attention.

In 1969, Milyutin caught a glimpse in Alexander Mitta’s tragicomedy “Burn, Burn, My Star”, where the main roles were played by Oleg Tabakov (“17 Moments of Spring”), Evgeny Leonov (“Gentlemen of Fortune”) and Oleg Efremov (“Battalions Ask for Fire” ").

After such a start, Alexander was assigned the role of the actor of the episodes. Every year he appeared in at least 3-4 films.

The most interesting projects awaited the artist in the 70s. During this period, the heyday of Soviet cinema came, a lot of cult paintings were shot at that time.

For example, in 1972, Leonid Bykov with the support of the film studio named after Dovzhenko began filming the military drama "Only Old Men Are Going to Battle". This film, which tells about the life of pilots during the Great Patriotic War, still has value for the audience. Sparkling humor, the spirit of courage and courage, the memory of irreparable losses permeate the entire storyline of the film. Alexander Milyutin appeared in the frame for only a few minutes in the image of a rookie who arrived at the service in the squadron of Titarenko.

In 1979, another unforgettable picture was released on Soviet screens - detective Stanislav Govorukhin "The meeting place cannot be changed." The plot of the film almost for the first time in the USSR touched on the theme of banditry that raged after the end of World War II. Back in the 50-60s, it was forbidden to discuss this problem for ideological reasons, but in the late 70s Govorukhin had the opportunity to film a fascinating novel by the Weiner brothers.

The main role in the film was played by Vladimir Vysotsky. His principled and assertive captain Zheglov became a legend in cinema. Milyutin worked in tandem with Vysotsky: in the picture, he got the role of the Ukrainian-speaking employee of the MUR Ivan Pasyuk - a leisurely, simple-minded, sometimes comical. After the premiere of the film, Alexander turned into a recognizable person. But, unfortunately, even the filming of Stanislav Govorukhin did not give a new round to the artist’s career.

The artist’s relatives do not hide the fact that he was seriously worried about the political and social changes in the country. In 1993, Alexander died of a heart attack at the age of 46.
