Fish is a tasty and healthy product rich in easily digestible protein and fatty acids. It is widely used in cooking and serves as an excellent basis for the preparation of various delicacies. In this publication, we will analyze in detail some of the most interesting recipes for festive fish dishes.
Salmon salad
This original dish is distinguished not only by excellent taste characteristics, but also by its presentable appearance. Therefore, it can be safely offered even to the most demanding guests. To prepare it, you will need:
- 180 g salted salmon fillet.
- 120 g carrots.
- 180 g of potatoes.
- 120 g of fresh cucumbers.
- 100 g of sweet bell pepper.
- 2 eggs.
- Salt, chives and mayonnaise.
It is advisable to start cooking this festive fish dish with the processing of root vegetables and eggs. They are washed, boiled, cooled, cleaned and rubbed on a medium grater without mixing with each other. Immediately after this, you can proceed to the design of the salad. A special ring is placed at the bottom of the flat plate and alternately lay potatoes, chopped green onions, carrots, eggs, chopped bell peppers, slices of cucumbers and slices of salmon. All layers except fish are smeared with mayonnaise. After an hour, the ring is carefully removed.
Canned Tuna Salad
This is one of the easiest options for festive fish dishes. It is a good combination of canned food and bright fresh vegetables. To prepare it, you will need:
- A can of canned tuna (in its own juice).
- 2 ripe red tomatoes.
- Large fresh cucumber.
- 100 g olives (seedless).
- Lettuce leaves.
- According to 2 tbsp. l not very spicy mustard and mayonnaise.
Washed tomatoes and cucumbers are cut into neat slices and stacked in a beautiful salad bowl. Pre-mashed fish, halves of olives and torn greens are sent there. The resulting salad is mixed with a sauce made from mayonnaise and mustard, and briefly placed in the refrigerator.
Stuffed carp
This hot festive fish dish does not need an additional side dish. But its main advantage is the complete absence of mayonnaise and oil. To prepare it you will need:
- Large carp.
- 200 g of champignons.
- Medium onion.
- Ripe tomato.
- Green feather onions, salt, lemon juice and spices.
Carp is thoroughly washed, cleaned and freed from the insides. The carcass prepared by this method is sprayed with lemon juice, rubbed with salt and spices, and then stuffed with mushrooms, stewed with onions. The filled abdomen is neatly fastened with toothpicks. Top with sliced ββtomato and chopped green onions. Carp is baked at 170 degrees for about 40-60 minutes.
Greek fish
The recipe for this delicious dish was borrowed from Mediterranean cuisine. The treat made according to it turns out to be unusually gentle and juicy, which means that it can beautify any celebration. To prepare this bright festive fish dish, you will need:
- 3 sweet peppers.
- 400 g fillet of any sea fish.
- 2 fresh cucumbers.
- 3 ripe red tomatoes.
- Medium onion.
- 2 cloves of garlic.
- 1/2 cup of good white wine.
- 1 tbsp. l Fresh Lemon Juice.
- Refined vegetable oil, herbs, salt and seasonings.
The peeled onions are crushed and fried in vegetable fat along with chopped garlic. After a couple of minutes, chopped greens and fish fillet, sprinkled with lemon juice and sprinkled with salt, are added to them. All this is poured with wine and stewed under a lid for a quarter of an hour.
Sweet pepper rings are fried in a separate frying pan and circles of cucumbers are added to them. Five minutes later, slices of tomatoes are laid out to them. Vegetables are salted, sprinkled with spices and combined with fish. All this is briefly warmed over low heat and served in beautiful plates.
Salmon in creamy sauce
This is one of the most popular hot fish dishes. It is served on the festive table with mashed potatoes or any vegetable side dish. To prepare such a treat, you need to take:
- 300 g of fresh salmon fillet.
- 200 ml cream.
- 50 g of any hard cheese.
- 1 tbsp. l wheat flour.
- 3 tbsp. l refined vegetable oil.
- 1 tsp. dried basil and marjoram.
- 1/2 lemon.
- Salt.
The washed fish is dried with paper towels, cut into portions, sprayed with citrus juice and briefly put in the refrigerator. After about a quarter of an hour, it is spread in a frying pan with warmed vegetable fat and fried for three minutes on each side. Then the salmon is poured with sauce made from cream, cheese chips, salt, flour, marjoram and basil, and stewed over low heat. In just five minutes, the fish is removed from the stove and served to guests.
Baked salmon in foil
For lovers of vegetables and seafood, we suggest paying attention to another not very complicated recipe for a festive fish dish. A photo of such a salmon can be found a little later, but for now weβll figure out what is needed to cook it. In this case, at your fingertips should be:
- 6 pieces of fish fillet.
- 450 g of frozen green beans.
- 2 tsp dried parsley.
- 1 tsp. onion and garlic powder.
- 1/2 tsp. salt and dill.
All spices are mixed in one bowl, and then washed and dried salmon is rolled in them. Breaded fish in this way is wrapped in foil along with green beans and baked at 200 degrees for about half an hour.
Sturgeon in the oven
This is one of the most chic festive fish dishes. It has an indescribable taste and an unforgettable look. To prepare it you will need:
- Sturgeon carcass.
- 2 lemons.
- 12 cherry tomatoes.
- A can of pitted olives.
- 2 oranges.
- 3 fresh cucumbers.
- 2 bunches of lettuce leaves.
- 150 ml of dry white wine.
- Salt, olive oil and spices.
The gutted fish is thoroughly washed, salted and left for five minutes. Then it is rinsed, wiped, sprinkled with seasonings, sprinkled with lemon juice and olive oil. The carcass prepared by this method is placed on a foil, watered with wine and sent to the oven. Ten minutes later, the fish is unfurled and baked until cooked. Baked salmon with tomatoes and basil
This is one of the most interesting fish dishes on the festive table. The recipe for its preparation involves the use of a specific grocery set. Therefore, before starting the process, check if you have at your disposal:
- 700 g of salmon.
- 50 g grated parmesan.
- 3 ripe red tomatoes.
- 2 cloves of garlic.
- 1/2 bunch of basil leaves.
- 1 tsp balsamic vinegar.
- Olive oil, salt, marjoram, lemon juice and white pepper.
Chopped garlic is fried in warmed vegetable fat. Then marjoram is added to it. The resulting aromatic oil is poured into a bowl in which there are already salted circles of tomatoes. Balsamic vinegar, pieces of salmon and leaf basil are sent there. All this is poured with lemon juice, mixed and baked in refractory forms at 200 degrees for about twenty minutes. Shortly before the completion of the process, the dish is sprinkled with grated Parmesan.
Mackerel with potatoes
We recommend that you pay special attention to another original fish dish. It is served hot on the festive table. Therefore, it is desirable to cook it shortly before use. To do this, you will need:
- 4 carcasses of mackerel.
- 1 kg of potatoes.
- 150 g of carrots.
- 150 g of onions.
- 300 g of tomatoes in their own juice.
- The juice of half a lemon.

Boiled and washed potatoes are boiled until half cooked and spread on a baking sheet. Thawed, gutted and seasoned fish sprinkled with lemon juice is placed there. All this is poured with sauce made from onions and carrots, fried with tomatoes in their own juice, and baked in an oven at 180 degrees.
Salmon with Avocado Sauce
This light festive fish dish, the photo of which will be presented below, goes well with vegetable side dishes and is suitable for guests on a low-calorie diet. To cook it, you will need:
- 2 salmon steaks.
- 100 g carrots.
- Medium onion.
- 2 lavrushki.
- Avocado.
- Lime.
- 125 ml of natural yogurt.
- Salt and allspice.
Washed vegetables are peeled and ground. Onions are cut into thin half rings, carrots - in circles. Then they are briefly immersed in salted boiling water, seasoned with parsley and allspice. Five minutes later, fish steaks freed from the stones are laid there and boiled together over low heat for seven minutes. The finished fish is removed from the broth, separated from the skin and placed on a plate. Before serving, it is watered with a sauce consisting of mashed avocado, natural yogurt, salt, juice and lime zest.
Salmon with mushrooms
This delicious and extremely fragrant dish is ideal for any holiday feast. It is prepared according to a simple recipe that does not require expensive or scarce components. To make such a treat, you need to stock up on such products:
- 300 g of salmon.
- 300 g of mushrooms.
- Clove of garlic.
- 1 tbsp. l soft butter.
- Medium onion.
- 50 ml of dry red wine.
- 1/2 tsp thyme.
- Salt, olive oil and spices.
Mushrooms are washed, dried and cut into medium pieces. Then they are fried in melted butter with chopped onions and crushed garlic. All this is salted, pepper, sprinkled with thyme and watered with red wine. Mushrooms in sauce are simmering over low heat and after five minutes they are removed from the burner. Washed and dried fish is salted, seasoned with spices and baked in oily form at a moderate temperature. As soon as the salmon is completely ready, it is laid out on a plate and covered with mushroom sauce.
Salmon with honey and mustard
This interesting fish dish goes well with vegetable side dishes and will be a good decoration for the festive table. To create it you will need:
- 300 g of salmon.
- 2 tsp each Dijon mustard and soy sauce.
- 2 tsp natural liquid honey.
- Sesame and poppy.
The washed fish is poured with a marinade made from honey, Dijon mustard and soy sauce, and left for fifteen minutes. At the end of the designated time, salmon is sprinkled with sesame and poppy seeds and baked at 170 degrees for about a quarter of an hour.
