Acclimatization. Symptoms of its manifestation.

History can begin even from ancient centuries, when the ancestors of each of us, having settled on the territory they loved, gradually began to get used to the local climate, food and other conditions that are characteristic only of these open spaces. But now, in our modern era of globalization, people are prone to travel and travel, and over long distances. And here, in new places, they will find a completely new climate, other food, traditions and, of course, acclimatization.

Symptoms of it can be both prolonged, and take a segment of several days. In general, it is believed that this process proceeds within two weeks, exacerbating on the third, seventh and tenth day of stay in a foreign country. But each person has his own individual organism, and what can take several days at a young, active and full of strength is much more difficult to overcome by an elderly person or a fragile childish body.

There are several ways to solve this problem. To begin with, it’s worth preparing for such a not-too-pleasant process, like acclimatization, the symptoms of which are manifested the more clearly, the weaker the body’s defense, which is subject to powerful workloads and a quick flight. Therefore, it is simply necessary at least a week before the start of the trip to start taking a good complex of vitamins, and it will be nice to attach an additional dose of vitamin C. It is recommended to drink the entire course, including rest time and a period of re-acclimatization of at least seven days. Be sure to reduce the workload a few days before the start of the trip, give the body the opportunity to relax and stock up on new forces, take walks as often as possible in the fresh air, this is the best way to strengthen immunity, and, therefore, prepare for such an event as acclimatization . Her symptoms are diverse. Often, after a flight on an airplane, accompanied by drafts from the air conditioners or unpleasant coolness in the cabin, chills, a runny nose and a sore throat may occur. Of course, in a liner filled with a wide variety of passengers, there is a risk of catching a viral infection, but most likely these are the first signs of acclimatization. Such symptoms will disappear as soon as your internal clock adjusts to a new life rhythm. And nothing can be done here, since the acclimatization of a person is a normal process, which affects most of the inhabitants of our planet.

Profuse sweating that has begun when traveling through hot countries is a sign that acclimatization is occurring in the body. Symptoms are expressed in heart palpitations and shortness of breath. You can alleviate these conditions with the help of mineral water. A fairly common problem for vacationers for the first time in this country is an upset digestive system. Usually, a traveler immediately wants to try everything that an exotic country offers him and this is the biggest mistake. The body is trying by all means to adapt to the new, often too unusual environment for it, and it simply does not have enough strength to digest exotic dishes. Therefore, in the first few days, you should limit your taste needs and try to take only food checked by the body in the usual conditions. This also includes the purchase of familiar and unfamiliar fruits “on hand” on the street. If they were incised, “foreign microbes” could easily get into them, which became for the body a new cause of a burst of acclimatization. It is worth staying away from everything unusual and unusual for the stomach for two to three days, and only when you feel that there are no more reasons for concern, little by little start trying the local table.

Remember that signs of acclimatization are the usual symptoms of preparing the body for a climate completely unfamiliar to it, which can be greatly alleviated by observing the necessary rules, taking vitamin complexes and making the necessary vaccinations before the trip.
