This traditional Italian dish is very popular all over the world today. It is quite time-consuming to prepare, but the result is worth it. As a rule, minced meat, mushrooms or vegetables are used as the filling for the dish. But this time we offer to cook lasagna with fish. The article presents several interesting recipes at once: with spinach, grain curd, mushrooms, broccoli and seafood.

The following basic tips and secrets will be a real help in the art of making truly delicious lasagna with red fish or any other filling:
- The obligatory component of the dish is pasta sheets. You can cook them yourself or buy them ready at the nearest supermarket. You just need to consider that some sheets need to be boiled before use, while others only need to be soaked in water. The finished paste should become plastic, but at the same time remain slightly crunchy.
- An important step in the preparation of lasagna is the proper stacking of sheets. They need to be placed crosswise. This means that the first layer of paste is laid in one direction, and the second in the opposite. The cross-shaped method of laying will make lasagna more durable, and when cut, it will not fall apart.
- For baking dishes, dishes made of heat-resistant glass or ceramics are ideal. The lasagna is cooked in it perfectly and will not burn. Thin-walled metal or aluminum forms are categorically not suitable for baking.
Salmon and Spinach Lasagna: Ingredients
For cooking special pasta sheets are required. To cook them, you will need the following products:
- flour - 400 g;
- egg - 2 pcs.;
- salt - 1 tsp;
- vegetable oil - 1 tbsp. l
Traditional lasagna is hard to imagine without Bechamel sauce. It is prepared from such products:
- butter - 50 g;
- milk - 500 ml;
- flour - 2 tbsp. l .;
- salt is a pinch.
The following ingredients will be needed directly for preparing lasagna with salmon and spinach:
- salmon - 800 g;
- frozen spinach - 800 g;
- onion - 1 pc.;
- garlic - 3 cloves;
- cream 10% - 250 ml;
- mozzarella cheese - 300 g;
- Parmesan - 50 g;
- salt to taste.
Homemade Lasagna Dough Recipe
Without a doubt, the dish will turn out tastier if you prepare the pasta sheets yourself.
Lasagna Dough Recipe:
- At home, the sheets are most often prepared from premium wheat flour, although it is advisable to use durum (second grade flour) or a mixture of these two types. Before kneading the dough, it must be sieved, enriched with oxygen.
- Pour flour onto the table with a slide.
- In the center, make a deepening and break 2 eggs into it. Add oil and salt.
- Knead the dough with your hands. This should be done within 5-10 minutes. It should become dense, homogeneous.
- Wrap the dough in a film. Leave it on the table for at least 30 minutes.
- Divide the dough into 6β8 parts. Roll each of them in turn with a rolling pin to a thickness of 1 mm.
- Finished sheets must be given the correct shape. Then they can be used immediately, dried or frozen. Before putting in the form, home-made pasta sheets should be boiled for 2 minutes in salted water.
Bechamel sauce for lasagna
Delicate and thick sauce is perfect for this dish. We can say that Bechamel and lasagna are a classic of the genre. Moreover, the sauce is very easy to prepare:
- Melt the butter in a double-bottom saucepan.
- Pour flour into it. Constantly stirring with a whisk, fry it until a pleasant nutty aroma appears.
- In a separate bowl, bring the milk to a boil. Pour it in portions into a pan with flour and butter, each time stirring with a whisk. At this point, the milk should be as hot as possible. This will avoid the formation of lumps in the sauce.
- At the very end, add salt and spices to taste, for example, black pepper and nutmeg. The sauce should be moderately thick, like low-fat sour cream.
Ready-made Bechamel can immediately be used for lasagna with fish.
Step by step cooking
Lasagna with fish and spinach from the above ingredients is prepared in the following sequence:
- Remove the spinach from the freezer a few hours before starting to work with it.
- Chop the onion and garlic with a knife.
- Heat vegetable oil in a pan. Fry onion with garlic on it.
- Add defrosted spinach. Simmer it under the lid for 5-7 minutes.
- Cool the prepared mass a little, then transfer to a blender bowl and grind.
- Pour the cream into the spinach mass and beat well again.
- Cut salmon or any other red fish into cubes, and mozzarella into thin plates.
- Prepare a baking dish by greasing it with butter.
- Preheat the oven to a temperature of 180 Β° C.
- Put pasta sheets on the bottom of the mold. Grease them with the third part of spinach sauce, and then with a layer of Bechamel. Then lay out the pieces of salmon, and spread the mozzarella on top.
- Continue to lay out all the ingredients of the dish in the same order. The last layer is a lasagna leaf, greased with spinach sauce and sprinkled with grated parmesan.
- Cover the baking dish with a lid or foil and send to the oven. After 30 minutes, open the dish and continue cooking for another 10 minutes.
Lasagna with Tuna and Cottage Cheese
The next cooking option will appeal to those who adhere to a healthy diet. Only sheets need to be bought or prepared on the basis of durum wheat flour. Then the fish lasagna will turn out not only delicious, but also very useful. The recipe for the dish consists in the following sequence of actions:
- Preheat the oven to a temperature of 220 Β° C. Grease the lasagna baking dish with olive oil.
- Cut the tuna fillet (250 g) and sprinkle it with lemon juice.
- Finely chop the dill and basil.
- Grate cheese (50 g). Cottage cheese (200 g) mix with cream (120 ml). Add finely chopped greens and salt to it. The filling should turn out brackish.
- Boil lasagna sheets or prepare as indicated on the package.
- Put the paste at the bottom of the mold, then distribute 1/3 of the tuna, the same amount of curd and green peas.
- Repeat all layers, finish with layers of lasagna. Generously sprinkle cheese on top of them.
- If desired, the sheets can be additionally poured with water remaining after cooking. About 2 tablespoons per layer.
- Bake lasagna with fish for 20 minutes. Serve hot.
Broccoli & Trout Lasagna
The following fish dish is not inferior in taste to meat. Well, even a beginner will cope with its preparation:
- Finely chop the onion, 2 pieces, and fry it in vegetable oil. It should become soft and lightly browned.
- Put small pieces of trout fillet in the pan to the onion - 600 g. Lightly fry them, then pour 100 ml of cream. Add salt and pepper to taste. Wait until they evaporate a little and remove the pan from the heat.
- Cool the fish filling and knead with a fork.
- Boil broccoli (300 grams) in salted water for two minutes.
- Prepare Bechamel on the basis of 1 liter of milk.
- Lasagna will need 12-14 sheets of pasta. They need to be pre-cooked or just kept in boiling water for about 3-4 minutes.
- Put the paste in a greased form. Top with a portion of the fish filling with broccoli. Pour the sauce over the filling and cover with other sheets. Sprinkle the last layer with grated cheese - 100 g.
- Bake lasagna with trout and broccoli in the oven for half an hour. Let the dish cool slightly and you can serve it to the table.
Seafood Lasagna
In the next dish there is no fish at all, but there are a lot of squids, shrimps and vegetables. You can buy seafood separately or use a package of frozen cocktail. Prepare such a lasagna as follows:
- Turn on the oven in advance and set the temperature to 180 Β° C.
- Pour 4 tablespoons of olive oil into the pan. Fry chopped garlic (2 cloves) and onion on it.
- Dice celery stalk (3 pcs.), Carrots, bell pepper. Cook for 4 minutes.
- Dip squids (200 g) with boiling water, peel and cut into cubes. Peel and chop the shrimp in a similar way (300 g). Put them in a pan for vegetables.
- Add tomato paste (2 tbsp. L) to seafood, add a little water, add salt. Cook under the lid for 2 minutes.
- Cook the Bechamel.
- Collect lasagna, alternating layers of pasta, filling and sauce. Sprinkle grated cheese on top.
- Cook the dish for 15 minutes under the foil, and then another 10 minutes without it, so that the cheese is browned.
Lasagna with mushrooms and red fish
A delicious fish dish for the whole family can be prepared according to the following recipe:
- Boil approximately 400 g of white fish in salted water.
- Fry the onion half rings in a pan, then add the mushrooms sliced ββin plates to them. Fry until complete liquid evaporation. Add spices and salt.
- Grind a bunch of basil and add it to tomato sauce (2 cups) along with lemon juice (to taste).
- Boil the pasta.
- At the bottom of a rectangular shape, pour 0.5 cups of tomato sauce and lay out the first 3 sheets. Spread half of the fish on top. Sprinkle it with grated mozzarella (150 g), pour tomato sauce (1 cup) and cover with pasta (3 sheets). Then lay out all the mushrooms and pour the Bechamel sauce (half a portion). The next layer is the remaining fish, again mozzarella and tomato sauce with basil. Cover the ingredients with sheets, pour the remaining white sauce and sprinkle with grated parmesan.
- According to the recipe, lasagna with fish is cooked in an oven preheated to 190 Β° C for 40 minutes. The first half hour the dish should be covered with foil, and then it is removed so that the top turns red.
