The drug Nise (ointment) is used

During muscle pain of various origins, it is also often recommended to use the drug βNiseβ (ointment). Instructions for use involve local application of the drug. At the same time, it causes a decrease in the intensity of pain or their disappearance, significantly reduces morning swelling and stiffness of the joints. As a result, the amplitude and number of available movements increases.
Nise is a steroid-free anti-inflammatory drug. In addition to its main purpose, this tool also has antipyretic, decongestant, cooling and analgesic effects. Due to the effect on the enzymes that participate in the synthesis of prostaglandins, which, in turn, are mediators in the formation of edema, inflammation and, as a result, pain, the Nise medication (ointment) is able to level these phenomena.
In addition, the drug inhibits the occurrence of toxic oxygen decay products, that is, it has antioxidant properties. When applied topically, the effect becomes noticeable after about a month of use.
Instructions for use
It is recommended to wash and dry the skin before applying ointment to it. It should be applied to the area of ββmaximum pain with a uniform thin layer no more than four times a day.
The total duration of treatment is determined by specialists depending on the size of the painful area, as well as on the individual patient's response to the drug.
With prolonged use, it is necessary to carry out systematic monitoring of renal function. Ointment-treated skin areas do not need to be covered with occlusive dressings.

Adverse reactions with the use of Nise ointment may be different. When applied topically, peeling, itching, urticaria, and discoloration of the skin are possible. However, the latter is not a reason for discontinuing the drug. In the case of applying the ointment, there is a likelihood of adverse reactions such as diarrhea, heartburn, gastralgia, nausea or vomiting, ulceration of the gastrointestinal mucosa, headaches and dizziness, hematuria, fluid retention, anemia, as well as allergic reactions such as skin rashes or anaphylactic shock.
Also, when using this drug, it is possible to increase the duration of bleeding, thrombocytopenia, leukopenia, agranulocytosis. In case of adverse reactions, you should immediately stop using Nise (ointment) and consult a specialist.
For elderly patients, this drug is prescribed with caution due to the frequency of cases of cardiovascular diseases, arterial hypertension, gastrointestinal disorders, impaired renal function or a tendency to bleeding, especially during treatment with antiplatelet agents and anticoagulants. Diabetics should also take the drug strictly dosed, since sucrose is included in its composition.
It is strictly contraindicated to use "Nise" (ointment) during pregnancy and lactation. However, if the drug needs to be used, then breastfeeding is better to stop. Also, it should not be used for dermatoses and skin lesions. It is necessary to ensure that βNiseβ (ointment) does not get on the mucous membranes and especially in the eyes. Also, you can not use this tool for the treatment of children under two years of age.
The use of the drug is contraindicated in case of hypersensitivity to nimesulide, other components of the drug, as well as to other anti-inflammatory drugs that do not contain steroids, and acetylsalicylic acid.
