KVN is a game that excites the souls of millions of people for many years. She is loved not only in Russia, but also far beyond its borders. There are a huge number of teams that have long and successfully performed on the stage of KVN. Many of them released a lot of celebrities. One of such successful teams is RUDN University.

In 1998, a unique and distinctive KVN team, Children of Lumumba, was created at the Peoples' Friendship University. She immediately made a splash. And no wonder: it consisted of some Africans who also tried to joke in Russian.
The sharp rise of "Children of Lumumba" ended in the same crash after only 2 years. By that time, the team’s black-and-white humor had become boring, but failed to offer the audience something fundamentally new and original. At that time, many put an end to the team of KVN RUDN University. And they were wrong.
In 2000, the university again begins the search for people who will join the KVN RUDN University team. The composition of the "Children of Lumumba" has been updated: it included white-skinned guys. In addition, they created a more multinational team with the original name "Samurai in Yokohama, Kawasaki Prefecture."
Both teams took part in the Sochi festival 2001. They played unevenly: they won, they lost. Each of the teams wanted to continue their career, but the university leadership said that only one of them could represent a university. As a result, it was decided to hold a tournament between teams within the university. According to its results, “Samurai” went to “KiViN-2002”, and they won for themselves the right to participate in the Euroleague.
First successes
2002 was the first full season in which the KVN RUDN team announced itself. Its composition continues to be supplemented by new bright personalities who constantly bring original images into the game. For the first time since Lumumba's Children, the game becomes successful.
Finally, the guys noticed and invited to the “Voting KiViN” in Jurmala. Everyone knows that this is already a much higher level of the game. The team comes here under the general name "Team RUDN KVN." Its composition becomes more or less constant. The success of the team was phenomenal: the guys take KiVi In Black, they are given the honorable right to close the gala concert.
Unfortunately, in the fall of 2002, RUDN lost in the semifinals. But the jury members are the ones who choose the third team to the final. And they are absolutely right: the team becomes the champion of the Euroleague 2002. And at KiViN-2003 RUDN University for the first time passes to the Higher League.
After two more years of successful performances at the Sochi KiViN-2005 directly from the stage, the KVN RUDN team, whose composition finally became perfect, said that it takes time out in its performances. Naturally, the fans were in shock.
Celebrities
Like many teams, the team of the University of Friendship of Peoples has released a considerable number of successful guys who have gained immense popularity. Here is a far from complete list of those who once played for RUDN KVN. The composition of the team boasts of such participants:
- Sangaji Tarbaev - captain. This witty and unusually charming young man led his team in the right direction.
- The composition of the KVN RUDN University team would have been incomplete without the charming guy Andrew Njogu. It was around him that a huge number of team jokes were built at one time.
- Ararat and Ashot Keshan are brothers for whom KVN has become a launching pad. Confidently declaring themselves from the stage, they became successful actors of the series "Univer" on TNT. Ashot also took part in the project “Friendship of Peoples”.
- It is curious that many talented singers also leave the Club of cheerful and resourceful. At one time, Peter Yelfimov, who participated as a Belarusian singer in Eurovision 2009, and Pierre Narcissus, the same “chocolate hare,” joined the RVN KVN.
- Vadim Bakunev, Konstantin Fedorov, Diana Mukhamedzhanova - it’s almost endless to list the names of RUDN University players who somehow flashed regularly on television. One thing is indisputable: at one time this team brightly ascended to the KVN Olympus.
The present
In 2011, the fans of the team were delighted. She suddenly appeared on the Voting KiViN and performed so successfully that she took the gold.
Today, the PFUR team successfully traveled the whole country and not only. The guys give concerts, which gather full halls of the people. They visited many countries, where their performances are also an overwhelming success.
In 2014, the RUDN KVN team again appeared on the scene. Its composition is now updated by hitherto unknown young talents who are studying at the Peoples' Friendship University. It is not yet clear whether they will be equally successful, but anything is possible.
One of the most successful KVN teams is the RUDN national team. So it was in the past. Will it be the same in the future - while no one knows. One thing is for sure: KVN RUDN University has already left its mark on the Planet.
