Plot

Everything was changed by revolution and war. The people divided into white and red. Roman becomes the commander of the latter. He believes that he is fighting for social justice and equality. However, while the hero is away from his home, the traditional order has already been destroyed in his village: death, devastation, suffering and pain come, destinies break, the chieftain is beaten and suffering.
Roman’s father dies before the eyes of the entire Cossack village. He never has time to make peace with his son. Roman returns to the village on a horse like a brave commander, and sees a heartbroken mother mourning a dead father.
