The Shannara Chronicles is an American-made fantasy series. Its creators are Alfred Gough and Miles Millar. Actors in the Shannara Chronicles series played the script based on the Shannar trilogy of writer Terry Brooks.
General information
Filming took place in New Zealand. The television series was first shown on MTV in January 2016. The first trailer was presented to the public on July 10, 2015. At the moment, two seasons of the television show have been shot.

The music for The Shannara Chronicles was written by Eric Burton and Felix Erskine.
The idea to film the Shannar trilogy arose back in 2012. The script does not show book events in chronological order, but contains a mixed version of the events of all books.
It was decided to broadcast the second season on Spike TV.
Plot
Three hundred years have passed since the demons were closed in a parallel dimension, and magic in the world disappeared. The magic tree Elkris protects the world from the return of demons.
The main characters of the Chronicle of Villas, Eretria and Amberley are trying with all their might to save the tree from dying and protect the world from evil forces.
