The biography of Ivan Zhidkov is a story about a simple boy from a Russian city who conquered not only the capital, but also the entire Russian cinema.
Zhidkov Ivan Alekseevich was born in August 1983 in Yekaterinburg (then the city of Sverdlovsk). He studied well at school, but was a weak, frail boy, because of which he was often offended by peers, and the girls considered them unworthy of their attention.
Ivan Zhidkov, whose biography began in a completely different way from that of most famous actors, did not participate in dramatic productions at school, and his family had no connections, and therefore Ivan entered the theater university himself, “from scratch”. Having successfully passed the exams, a simple Sverdlovsk guy became a student at the Moscow Art Theater School.
The biography of Ivan Zhidkov would be completely different if not for his acquaintance with Oleg Tabakov, who really liked the young actor. Soon, Ivan began to work in the famous "Snuffbox", where he made his theatrical debut. Here he came to work after the Moscow Art Theater. For three years, he became a real theater star, playing in productions such as “Sunday. Super ”,“ Biloxi-Blues ”,“ Overstocked barrel. ” Then Ivan got a second job - the famous Chekhov Moscow Art Theater, where the most striking roles were in the play "Yu" and the play "The White Guard", where Zhidkov played the role of Nikolka Turbin. It was thanks to this role that Ivan Zhidkov’s biography was replenished with the first significant event - he won the Moscow Debuts Theater Festival - this was his first theatrical award.

In 2007, the actor left both theatrical groups without quarrels and disagreements, deciding to pursue a career in the cinema. In one of the interviews, Ivan noted that he did not consider cinema more important than theater, it was simply difficult for him to play in the repertoire theater by character. Oleg Tabakov regretted the departure of his favorite.
By that time, Zhidkov was already a family man, his wife was the famous actress Tatyana Arntgolts, with whom they played in such well-known entreprise as "Do not wake a sleeping dog" and "Five evenings." They met by chance and immediately fell in love. Then Tatyana was already a famous actress, and Ivan was just starting his career. In 2009, they had a daughter.
The first film role in Zhidkov was in his student days - this is the main role in the military melodrama directed by Pyotr Todorovsky “In the constellation of the Bull”. Then the film actor Ivan Zhidkov saw the world. His biography as an actor did not start with this film - he received good reviews from film critics, but did not become popular, and was unknown to the general public.
In 2005, Ivan receives the role of Lovelace Sergeant Samsonov in the 4th and 5th seasons of the series “Soldiers”. This was followed by filming in "Urgent-6" (skinhead Rommel) and "Deadly Force-6" (Kostya Cheremykin), as well as the main role of Max Vanyukhin in the drama "Children of Vanyukhin" - a wonderful multi-part film shot by Yuri Moroz.
Ivan also had experience in soap operas, the series Love as Love, after which he never starred in such projects.
Since 2008, the actor has received roles in well-known Russian films: “Stormy Gates” (for the role of Konstantin Vetrov, Ivan was awarded a medal of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation), “Network”, “Zero Kilometer” (best supporting actor in the version of “Constellation-Tver”) , "The Smile of God" (his role as Alan was recognized as the best male role of 2009 and was awarded the prize of the festival "Literature and Cinema").
To this day, Zhidkov remains the most famous and sought-after Russian actor. His "horse" is melodramatic roles. He continues to act in both feature films and multi-part films. It can be seen that the creative biography of Ivan Zhidkov will have a long and very interesting continuation.
