The Yunusov family was already quite prosperous by the time their first son was born. It would seem that any child who is born to well-off parents will grow up a spoiled "major", but everything turned out wrong. Parents of the future star held several conservative views on the issue of becoming a person as a person, believing that everyone should achieve success in life on their own, as they themselves did. So, in Moscow on August 15, 1983, Timur Yunusov (Timati) was born into the family of Ildar Yunusov and Simone Yunusova (Chervomorskaya). The nationality of the boy since that time causes much controversy.
The birth of a star
As for his creative abilities, parents noticed them in Timur's early childhood. Therefore, while still a schoolboy, he also attended a music school, in which he studied singing and violin. Despite the fact that the boy clearly showed success in vocals, he categorically did not want to practice violin, but his mother, seeing the potential (plus musical roots along her line), continued to insist on mastering the voice and musical instrument. After receiving secondary education, he enters the Higher School of Economics, but after a short time Timur realizes that this is not his way and after 6 months he quits school.
Adolescence. The beginning of becoming a musician
In 1996, then still unknown Timothy's parents sent to Los Angeles, so that he looked at the world and, perhaps, warmed up his interest in learning. But the hopes of the parents never came true, and, instead of engaging in his self-development and sciences, he pays more attention to hip-hop and club parties. It was this period in his life that became a turning point when he precisely decided what he would do in the future. Therefore, after returning to the capital of Russia, he took up show business, which began with work in clubs. Moreover, these were fairly well-known and popular institutions, such as Marika, Most, and others.
The musician constantly visits the gym and keeps himself in good physical shape, but because of his daring character he falls into one of the brawls, where he receives 2 stab wounds in the abdomen, which are now reminiscent of scars. Rumor has it that this happened precisely because of the question of what nationality Timati, some "Slavic" groups. By the way, this topic was also mentioned in one of the films where the musician played himself.
Speaking of origin, there is much debate on this topic, Timati’s nationality by father is Tatar, but his mother is Jewish, and the whole intrigue is that in the latter, a person’s nationality is determined exclusively by the female line, so it can even be said that Timur - a Jew.

Despite all the problems and difficulties, the future "star" shows himself from the very best sides, and thanks to his musical education, he makes every effort to achieve success in this direction. The official beginning of a career, or rather, attempts to start it, can be considered 1998. It was then that the first team of Timati was created, it was called VIP77, which meant "Very Important People in the 77th district of Moscow." There were only 7 people in the group, of which only its founder became more or less popular. Despite the fact that all their work was well received at amateur festivals and in some clubs, they still did not achieve success. However, a year before its official breakup, the group even managed to release the first album, entitled The Album. Biography Timati, whose nationality is still of interest to admirers of his work, has virtually no blank spots. So, in 2000, Timur first hit the wide screen, thanks to Decl's clip “Party”.
The year 2004 was marked by the participation of Timati, Dominic Joker and Ratmir Shishkov in the television project Star Factory-4. It was at this moment that a team was assembled, which was subsequently referred to as the "Gang." The group did not manage to win the project then, but instead they managed to declare themselves, after which Igor Krutoy decided to take on their team. Soon, the song “Weeping Heaven” enters the media space. The song very quickly gained great popularity and after it appears the next hit - “New People”.
The following year (2005) gives Timati even more popularity thanks to his video with Alex “Where are you?”. At the same time, the debut album "New People." Alexa and Timati were familiar from the Factory, the producers decided that for their image and popularity it would be better to create the illusion of love and romantic relationship between them. Thus, in public, they tried their best to support their legend. In the same year, Timati starred in the movie "Male Season: The Velvet Revolution."
Soon the whole team goes on a tour of Russia. Timur manages to participate in the "Gang" and in VIP77 at the same time. Naturally, their leader was Timati. The nationality of all participants in the groups was different, but this did not prevent them from creatively developing and successfully existing. At the end of the tour, the Black Club opens. At the same time, he quarrels with Alexa, who even for some time begins a relationship with one of the businessmen of Donetsk. But soon they were together again.
In 2006, the world saw the release of the first solo album called Black Star. His debut show "Yuppie on a pickup truck" also starts. Also recorded was a hit with Alex - "When You're Near." This composition was so popular that it immediately topped the first lines of the musical charts of Russia and the CIS.
The year 2007 began with an official statement regarding the termination of relations between Alexa and Timati. The nationality or sharp character of the musician served this decision - it is not known for certain until now. Now, not burdened with serious relationships, the young artist plunges headlong into solo projects. Moreover, active work begins not only in the musical part, but also in the improvement of acting skills. The main role in the film "Heat", dubbing the cartoon "Catch the Wave", shooting the clips "Do not go crazy" and "Dance."
In 2008, another composition was presented on the theme of the capital of Russia, in the work of which Dj Smash took part - “My Moscow”. In the same year, production work was done on Sergey Lazarev's video - Lazerboy.
In 2009, in November, the artist released his second solo album called The Boss. Also this year, an appeal was made to the ranks of the Russian army, to which Timati fell. Nationality in this case did not matter, and the certificate issued by the doctors during the examination helped him to “deflect”, it spoke about the artist’s mental imbalance.
In 2010, the musician announced that he was going to release an English version of The Boss. But this process is being delayed, and soon completely postponed. In the summer, a grand opening of his store with a personal designer line takes place. In the same year, closer to its end, another 2 videos were released: “How much is love” and “Time”.
In 2011, Timati enters the arena of European nightclubs with a remix of the song Welcome to St. Tropez by DJ Antoine.
