Garlic is a world famous vegetable crop with a pungent taste and characteristic aroma. In cooking, almost all of its parts are used: leaves, arrows and cloves. Vegetable gives the dish not only a unique pleasant taste, but also useful properties. Since ancient times they have known about its healing powerful qualities.
Garlic contains fiber, pectin, organic acids, glucosides, glucose and a whole complex of vitamins (B1, B, C, PP). Typically, the cloves themselves are used in the form of spices for cooking, but many simply do not know that peduncles can be used as a separate dish. Fried garlic arrows are tasty, healthy and low in calories.
To do this, freshly broken arrows are taken, washed, cut into small cubes, then laid out in a pan with vegetable (olive) oil and fried for 10 minutes. Readiness is determined by their softness. You can season the fried garlic arrows with any spices (at your discretion). It turns out a light vegetable dish that can be served with mashed potatoes or rice.
Braised Garlic Arrows: Egg Recipe
Structure:
- arrows of garlic (determine the amount yourself);
- some water;
- two eggs;
- salt pepper;
- cilantro, dill.
Stir the chopped vegetables until soft, pour in water and, having closed the lid, leave for another 5 minutes. We drive eggs into the mass, pour finely chopped herbs and spices, mix and serve.
How to cook garlic arrows with
teriyaki sauce? Very simple and fast.
An unusual appetizer goes well with meat delicacies and fish dishes. And also suitable as an independent vegetable stew.
Ingredients:
- a kilogram of garlic arrows;
- soy sauce (20 g);
- olive oil (20 g);
- lemon juice (10 g);
- black pepper, salt;
- cilantro.
For the preparation of Japanese teriyaki sauce (you can buy ready-made):
- soy sauce (5 g);
- vegetable oil (5 g);
- vodka or sake (5 g);
- ground coriander, cardamom, caraway seeds, cinnamon, cloves, black pepper, fennel (a pinch);
- a little sugar.
Teriyaki is sold ready-made in all stores, but we will prepare it ourselves from the listed components. All products are mixed together, resulting in a wonderful sauce or marinade for meat.
Cut the arrows into pieces, send them to fry until soft (8-10 minutes). Next, pour lemon juice, home-made teriyaki, soy sauce and herbs to them, then simmer for a couple more minutes and turn off the fire. It is recommended to serve with fish steaks.
Your guests will not understand that these are ordinary fried garlic arrows, as the taste of this dish is exotic and piquant. And there is practically no smell of garlic. As you can see, everything is simple, cheap and deliciously delicious.
Now let's make the fried garlic arrows with potatoes in the oven. You will need the following products:
- half a kilogram of arrows;
- a kilogram of potatoes;
- cheese (100 g);
- bow;
- sour cream (50 g);
- spices to taste.
Cut arrows into several parts and fry. Then peeled potatoes are cut into thin plates, mixed with onions, seasoned with spices and spread on a baking sheet. Lubricate abundantly with sour cream on top, but mayonnaise can also be used. Sprinkle the mass with grated cheese and bake for about an hour at 180 C.
