Troyanova Yana Alexandrovna was born in 1973 in the Urals in the city of Sverdlovsk, which since 1991 became Yekaterinburg. Yana Troyanova has the Polish noble roots of the Mokritsky family, but at birth, Yana's mother gave her a fictitious surname and middle name. The girl’s father was called Victor, but in the birth certificate, the mother entered Aleksandrovna’s middle name in honor of Alexander Sergeyevich Pushkin.

After the birth of Yana, her mother left the girl to raise her grandmother and immediately returned to work in order to provide her family with income. Five years later, my grandmother died of cancer, and this was the first big loss in Yana's life.

Her first marriage was very unsuccessful, Yana's ex-husband often applied to the bottle, which poisoned her life. Once, while intoxicated, her ex-husband severely beat Yana, and after discharge from the hospital she left him in her arms with a small child. To date, Yana is married to Vasily Sigarev, a famous director and playwright.
