In one of the St. Petersburg department of the traffic police begins to work Sergei Lavrov. Now he is a partner of the traffic cop with the experience of Zimin, who is in pre-retirement age. He tries not to get involved anywhere in order to calmly retire. These two different people are now forced to work in pairs. And their acquaintance immediately turns into a conflict.
Since they spend a lot of time together by the type of service, they have to come to terms and get used to each other. Gradually, they share their feelings and thoughts. Nikolai Zimin learned the tragic story of the Lavrov family, whose wife and daughter explode in a car. Lavrov, in turn, becomes an entrance to the house of his partner, and when Zimin’s son is pulled into the drug trade, it is Sergei who starts the war with a criminal group in order to help the boy.
So begins the series "Traffic cops", the actors and their roles in which are very diverse. But each character is so bright that it is remembered for a long time.

Such opinions are not at all surprising: the scenario is interesting, talented actors were selected, the work of cameramen, lighting and other technical personnel was at their best.

Sergei Astakhov and Vladimir Gusev, who played these very positive law enforcement officers on the roads, are familiar to the audience from their previous works. And yet, it seems that only in this picture did the whole palette of their acting talent open. Despite a sufficient number of early roles, it was here that they showed everything they can do. Astakhov perfectly approached the role of a kind of Russian superhero, who knows almost everything - and to save a person, and punish bandits, and brilliantly get out of a difficult situation. Gusev perfectly succeeded in the role of an absent-minded good man and a faithful family man.
Largely thanks to them, it turned out the series, which gives the audience a good mood.

According to the official promo website, only two seasons were shot, eight episodes in each of them (although some sources say that the first was nine episodes). But be that as it may, each episode lasting sixty minutes is interesting in its own way.
The series “GAI officers”, season 2 (the actors and their roles are now also known to many viewers) liked no less than the first, because I wanted to trace the fate of the main characters and understand what will happen to each of them next. Despite the fact that almost ten years have passed since the release of the first series, interest in the film does not become weaker. A new generation is growing up who is also interested in these stories.
Thanks to the actors, the audience was able to see what is happening daily in the regular traffic police department - how sad and happy they are; How does a regular day go for employees, and how is a holiday; why they rejoice, from which they despair. Yes, filming was not always easy, but not one actor regretted agreeing to them.
