Gorgonzola sauce: several recipes

This authentic seasoning for many main dishes and appetizers has a bright original character, taste and aroma. And today it is very popular with a wide range of eaters. Gorgonzola sauce at home is quite simple to prepare. At the heart is cheese of the same name.

Gorgonzola sauce composition No. 1

  1. On a low heat, heat 100 grams of cream (you can do this in a small saucepan).
  2. Gorgonzola (200 g) is divided into pieces and gently knead with a fork. Dip the cheese in a well-warmed cream, leave to languish there. Enough for 8-10 minutes. It must be brought to the bubbles, stirring constantly. Then you can turn it off.
  3. Remove the Gorgonzola sauce from the stove, add the juice from half a lemon. Stirring, we introduce nutmeg with pepper. We give seasoning to brew. You can serve to the table!

Gorgonzola sauce: recipe number 2

Such ingredients will be required: about 60-70 grams of melted butter, half a glass of grated Gorgonzola (you can replace Dor blue), fresh herbs, onions, chopped garlic (a few cloves), chopped freshly ground pepper. The steps are simple:

  1. In a small container over low heat, melt the butter.
  2. Dip cheese into it, and then, stirring constantly, add greens, garlic and pepper. We slowly warm for several minutes, stirring and shaking, until the whole mass acquires uniformity and melts. Cool a little and serve.

Tip: the butter in the recipe can be safely replaced with cream or sour cream. And now a few recipes with this magical Gorgonzola sauce.

Steaks with sauce

Pork steaks

We need: 1/4 cup Dijon mustard, 1 large spoon of olive oil, a generous pinch of dried thyme, 1 kilo of pork steaks. Well, and, of course, Gorgonzola sauce in the amount of 200 grams.

Simple cooking!

  1. Mix Dijon mustard, olive oil and thyme in a small bowl.
  2. Sprinkle pork tenderloin with salt and pepper.
  3. Heat a large non-stick skillet to a high temperature.
  4. Put the pork and fry until brown for about 5 minutes on each side.
  5. Transfer the pork to the prepared pan. A mixture of Dijon mustard with spices to spread on all sides of the meat.
  6. Preheat the oven to 200 Celsius. Fry in the oven for about half an hour. Remove from oven and let stand for several minutes.
  7. Meanwhile, prepare the sauce. To do this, use one of the above recipes.
  8. Cut pork and transfer to serving plates. Place a little sauce on the pulp. Serve an additional portion of Gorgonzola also separately in a small container.

Gorgonzola sauce with fried mushrooms and pasta

We will need the following ingredients: 2 cups of milk (may be needed additionally), 200 grams of crumbled cheese, a packet of pasta made from durum wheat, a little butter (2 tbsp), half a glass of flour, 1 tablespoon of fresh rosemary, chopped finely, a pinch of salt with pepper, as well as 2 cups of mushrooms, diced or sliced.

Simple cooking!

  1. Cook pasta in accordance with the packaging instructions.
  2. Melt the butter over medium heat in a bowl. After add flour and beat. Cook until the flour is light brown in color, about 5 minutes.
  3. Slowly introduce milk. When all the milk is introduced, it should thicken, but not completely. Turn the fire to a minimum and cook further, about 4-5 minutes.
  4. Introduce Gorgonzola cheese and mix until thick. And for taste, add salt and pepper. This may be required individually.
  5. Fry the mushrooms separately in oil over low heat - 10-15 minutes - and introduce into the paste.
  6. Serve pasta with mushrooms on top, garnished with fresh rosemary. Bon appetit to all!
