Cake "Mannick": recipe with sour cream
To prepare sweets, remove from your stocks:
- 1 cup of the usual semolina;
- 1 cup of any sour cream;
- 1 cup (or a little less if you are going to make a cake with a sweet filling) sugar;
- 1.5 cups of wheat flour;
- 3 chicken eggs;
- half a teaspoon of table salt and one - soda.

Mix the eggs with sugar in a deep bowl (the mass can also be beaten with a mixer), and then add flour, semolina and sour cream, pour salt and baking soda, which is quenched with boiling water. Mix well, you should get a dough of medium density, homogeneous, without lumps. Leave it in a warm place for 15-20 minutes, semolina should be slightly swollen. After the set time has passed, pour the dough into a mold slightly oiled and set to bake at 180 degrees, usually 40 minutes is enough for this. However, the time for which the Mannick cake (the recipe of which is given above) will be ready depends on the features of the plate, so in different cases the cake can be removed after 30 minutes, and in some cases after all 50. Therefore, to make sure that the cake is completely baked, pierce it with a match or a toothpick - if there are no traces of dough on it, then the form can be safely removed from the oven.
