Lamb is very popular in Caucasian cuisine. It has a pretty good taste and tolerates various heat treatments. At the same time, fried lamb ribs cooked in a slow cooker are not very popular due to the fact that many cannot correctly select the necessary spices and set the desired mode.
Ingredients
To prepare you will need:
- lamb ribs - 2 kg;
- onions - 2 pcs.;
- carrots - 2 pcs.;
- garlic - 1 head;
- curry;
- dried basil;
- ground paprika;
- dried garlic;
- broth;
- salt.
Pickling
First of all, you need to prepare the meat. In order for the mutton ribs in the multicooker to turn out not only juicy, but also beautiful, they must be properly cut. To do this, they are divided into separate parts and strip part of the bone. After that, the meat is thoroughly washed and wiped dry using a paper towel.
Then a mixture of salt, paprika, curry, dried garlic and basil is made. She needs to carefully rub the meat, but at the same time, make sure that the spices lay down evenly. After that, he is left to marinate for two hours.
Preparatory work
While the meat is infused, it is necessary to peel the carrots and chop it together with onions in husks into large pieces, so that the lamb ribs are prepared with them . A recipe in a slow cooker involves separately frying these vegetables without adding oil until a slight blackening occurs. Then, in the same way, it is necessary to cook the pickled meat so that a crust appears on it.
Cooking
At this stage, you need to properly place the meat. All mutton ribs in the multicooker should be laid so that the bone is at the top, and all the pieces would be tightly stacked to each other. After that, fried onions and carrots are placed between them. Garlic cloves cut in half are also stacked.
Then the mutton ribs in the multicooker are poured with broth, which is pre-mixed with the rest of the seasoning. At the same time, the liquid level should be such that it covers all the meat, leaving it on the surface of the bone. Then put the "Extinguishing" mode on the device, close the lid and cook the dish for 90 minutes. It is not recommended to open the device.
After this time, the lamb ribs in the multicooker should be fully prepared. This can be verified by removing them from the tank. If this can be done without difficulty, then the meat is cooked, but when a single piece comes out with difficulty and sticks to others, then the dish needs to be baked for another half hour. When the ribs are ready, they are removed from the multicooker and laid out on plates.

Red wines are traditionally used as drinks , but vegetable and grape juices can be served if desired. Such ribs usually act as a main course.
