Most often, green peas are used as an additive to all kinds of salads, served as a separate dish or side dish. In addition, peas have proven themselves as an ingredient in various soups. Green pea soup can be prepared quickly and easily. Such a dish will turn out to be very satisfying, since peas contain a large amount of protein.
There are a lot of soups with the addition of peas, and each of them is original and tasty in its own way. I offer some simple recipes that will allow you to cook delicious dishes in a fairly short time and hearty feed the whole family.

Green pea soup

To prepare this soup we need: about three liters of water, a pound of pork ribs, a pack of green peas (fresh or frozen), medium carrots, onions, two tablespoons of sour cream, a little vegetable oil, any fresh herbs, two bay leaves, pepper and salt to your taste.

Preparation: take a pan, put the ribs in it, fill it with water and set to cook. After the water boils, throw the green peas and (after about five minutes) peeled and diced potatoes. For those who love boiling potatoes, you can throw it with peas.

While the soup is boiling, prepare the frying. Finely chop the onion and fry in a pan with the addition of a small amount of vegetable oil. Grate the carrots and add to the onion. Once the vegetables have turned golden, put sour cream and simmer for about two minutes. Our roast is ready. Add it to the soup and cook until the peas are ready. Sprinkle the finished green pea soup with finely chopped dill and parsley.
To improve the taste, add sour cream to the soup.

Green Pea Cream Soup

Necessary ingredients: 400 grams of fresh or canned peas, a glass of chopped lettuce, green onions, about a liter of chicken stock, a teaspoon of sugar, a little black pepper and chervil, 25 grams of butter and salt to taste.

Let's start cooking: put 350 grams of peas, lettuce and chervil into the pan. Pour chicken broth, pepper, salt and put on fire. As soon as the broth boils, reduce the heat and cook for 30 minutes. Next, pour the broth into a cup, grind the cooked peas through a sieve, pour the broth again and add the butter. We put on the fire and cook for 10 minutes.
Pour the finished green pea soup into the plates and spread the remaining peas.

Frozen pea soup

This soup is quite thick and very tasty.
We need the following products: two medium onions, a clove of garlic, a liter of vegetable broth, 300 grams of frozen peas, a slice of smoked bacon, four tomatoes, green onions, vegetable oil, half a glass of sour cream, pepper and a little salt.

Preparation: finely chop one head of peeled onion, chop the garlic and lightly fry in vegetable oil. In a pan with vegetable broth we put green peas, onions with garlic and put on a fire to cook, until the peas are ready. We wash the tomatoes, cut in half, remove the seeds and cut into small cubes. Chop green onions into rings. Cut the bacon into small cubes and fry in a pan, add the tomatoes, the remaining chopped onions, pepper, salt and stew under a closed lid for a couple of minutes.

We take out the cooked green peas from the broth and grind it through a fine sieve to make mashed potatoes. If possible, you can use a blender. We spread the pea puree in the broth, add it as necessary and mix everything carefully. Pour the finished soup into plates, spread the fried bacon, green onions and sour cream.
The soup is just amazing!
