The Disney film company has always delighted viewers with ideological films with a good plot, high-quality humor and unobtrusive notes of morality. This trend continued exactly until they began to work, focusing only on box office. For large gatherings, ideology is not needed, it is replaced by a vivid picture, a straightforward plot and morality adjusted to the modern norms of society. Roughly speaking, Disney is degrading along with society, and Shar Pei's Posh Adventure is a good illustration of this.
From dirt to Kings
An unpretentious story tells about a girl with an unusual name Sharpei, who lives in a small town and dreams of a beautiful life and fame. However, she does not take any steps towards the fulfillment of her own dreams, preferring to just sit and quietly hope for a miracle. Shar Pei is a non-self-reliant girl who does not know the real life and takes over the solution of her problems to others. This is a classic close-up blonde with a small doggie under her armpit, which recognizes only the pink-white range in clothes and sprinkles with sparkles everything that can reach. The image is not very interesting, but in the comedy genre there would be where to turn around. However, “Sharpey's Chic Adventure” is a melodrama with a hint of a musical, so the installation here is supposedly different. Trying to grab the dream by the tail, Sharpei moves to New York, and there he safely sits on the neck of a guy in love with her. While he solves all domestic issues for her, Shar Pei rejoices in his independence and continues to complain about life.
When dreams come true
The plot of the plot of the movie "Sharpey Gorgeous Adventure" (2011) just begins with the young dreamer moving to a
big city. There, she suddenly realizes that without difficulty she can’t catch anything from the pond, therefore she picks up a shovel and starts working, naturally, figuratively. Frustration of the main character is inimitable - why should she even work? She is talent, she should not get her hands dirty, and luck itself should sit on her shoulders without the slightest effort. Thus, while everyone around her is busy with affairs, and they simply do not have enough time for such thoughts, the talented Sharpei sleeps and sees himself as a Broadway star, but does not understand that the path there lies only through hard work. This action is diluted not too good acting, because the best trained in the movie "Sharpey Adventure" played small trained dogs.
The manifesto of laziness and the red carpet
As a result, when everything ends with the traditional Disney happy ending, frustration is already on the viewer. Absolutely not straining and relying on the will of chance, a girl with a mediocre appearance, zero working capacity and a total lack of talent makes her way to the big stage, fearlessly walking over her head. The viewer (especially the domestic one) does not understand how this is possible, and what the “Sharpey Chic Adventure” teaches. The film is like the manifesto of all the lazy girls, hungry for money and fame, but not hungry to work a single day in their lives. Morality as such is absent and turns into survival rules in a big city, which is not at all characteristic of Disney studio. Appreciate the movie "Sharpey Gorgeous Adventure"!
