The Talisman of Love was released in 2005, right after the end of the telenovela Poor Nastya. These projects are largely similar in format, but different actors were involved in them.
The “Talisman of Love” is a story about a poor servant Liza who took refuge in the house of a wealthy landowner. But acquaintance with the Uvarov family brought the girl only troubles.
This melodramatic story, which, according to the plot, unfolds at the end of the 19th century, was invented by scriptwriters Stanislav Libin (“Permanent Residence”) and Valentina Shevyakhova (“Sklifosovsky 4”). Eight people visited the director's chair until material was shot for 60 episodes.
The project was supervised by the studio "AMEDIA", as well as SONY PICTURES. The series was broadcast on the STS channel.
Tatyana Arntgolts as Lisa
Arntgoltz has long been the star of television series. She quickly moves from one project to another, playing either the strong-willed heroines or the women over whom everyone mocks.
The "Talisman of Love" did not become a debut for the young actress. She began her career back in the late 90s in the series "Simple Truths." Later, Tatyana Arntgolts, along with her twin sister, played a major role in the detective "Why do you need an alibi?", And also appeared in the TV series "Starfish Cavaliers", "Honeymoon", "Obsession" and "Last Weekend".
In the "Talisman of Love" the girl got the role of the young Elizabeth Koltsova, who fled from home in order not to endure beatings and humiliation. Lizonka found refuge in the house of the wealthy landowner Gabriel Uvarov, she was taken to the mansion to work as a servant. Over time, she arranges there for the service and her brother. However, Koltsova’s problems do not become less of that: either she falls in love with the master son of a villain, or she is undeservedly accused of theft - in a word, one misfortune is pouring on poor Cinderella after another. And of course, in the final, Lisa solves all the problems, becomes happy and finds a noble groom.
Nikolay Chindyaykin as Gabriel Uvarov
Nikolai Chindyaykin graduated from the directing department of GITIS. The artist began his screen career in 1990 with the film "Sea Wolf" by Igor Apasyan. In the 2000s, Chindyaykin played both policemen, and military, and even criminal authorities, such as in Kamenskaya. The actor appeared in many worthwhile projects: in “Empire under attack” he played with Igor Livanov and Konstantin Khabensky, in “Maroseyka” with Dmitry Kharatyan and Alexander Baluev, in “March of Turetsky” with Alexander Domogarov and Vladimir Ilyin. In the series "The Talisman of Love" Nikolai got the role of a wealthy entrepreneur and father of a large Uvarov family. He treats Lisa well, but is too absorbed in his worries and does not even suspect what is happening in his own house. The wife of Gabriel Uvarov was played by Evgeny Simonov, and daughters - Lyubov Tolkalina and Maria Kozlova.
Considering which actors were assembled in the project, the “Talisman of Love” was to be especially popular with the viewer. However, the ratings of the film are not very high: on the IMDb website - only 5.6 points, and on Kinopoisk - 5.3.
Evgenia Simonova as the wife of Uvarov
The young viewer may not know Evgeny Simonov. But the actress was very popular in the Soviet Union. Due to her miniature and gracefulness, she often received the roles of princesses, vulnerable and defenseless girls.
Simonova was born in the intelligent family of the academician. Accordingly, the parents tried to give their daughter a versatile education: classes in the choreographic class and in the music school. In the end, the girl decided to become an artist and entered the Shchukin school.
