Norman was born in 1969 in Hollywood, Florida. He grew up in Los Angeles, but often visited other countries: Spain, Ireland and Japan. He was educated at Bethany College in West Virginia. Prior to his acting career, he worked with the Harley-Davidson store, as well as with the organizers of various art shows as a sculptor, video artist and photographer. Also in the mid-90s he was associated with the modeling business and appeared in music videos of artists such as Keith Richards, Bjork, Radiohead, etc.
