In early childhood, this may be a reaction to infectious diseases, such as acute intestinal infections (salmonellosis, cholera and others). They can be accompanied by concomitant symptoms of intoxication: fever, general weakness, persistent pain in the joints and in all muscles. One of the reasons may be preeclampsia, in which a woman in a position rises in pressure, quickly adds weight and protein appears in the urine. Symptoms of this disease are acute pain in the stomach, headache and partial visual impairment, insomnia. Most often, this pathology develops after three months of pregnancy. At risk are women with hypertension. If preeclampsia is not detected in time and treated, the disease can go into a more severe form - eclampsia, due to which you can lose the baby. In order to avoid the appearance of this disease, it is necessary to consume a sufficient amount of protein food. Never postpone a visit to your doctor if vomiting of blood has begun. When vomiting with blood appears, the causes may also be in Melori-Weiss syndrome, which is accompanied by open bleeding in the upper stomach. Due to rupture of the vessels of the pharynx or esophagus, when it enters the gastric juice, the blood becomes a brownish tint. Foamy vomiting with blood indicates bleeding in the lungs. To establish the exact cause, the following types of studies are used:
- Clinical and biochemical blood tests - to detect the presence of infections in the body, as well as establish other disorders;
- fibrogastroduodenoscopy - to check the digestive tract;
- radiography with radiopaque substances - to determine the disease throughout the digestive tract. For example, cancer of the duodenum is detected this way;
- ultrasound, ECG and computed tomography.
In the treatment of vomiting, a thorough examination is prescribed, and only then a course of drugs with which the disease that caused the vomiting is treated.
