Drops "Vizin" (instructions for use attached to the drug) belong to the group of alpha-adrenergic agonists - therapeutic drugs that combine decongestant and vasoconstrictor effects. The effect of the medication occurs within a few minutes. The mucous eyes become more moist, the burning sensation, itching, "sand" in the eyes disappears. This "works" tetrozoline, the main therapeutic substance of the drug "Visin". It removes edema, relieves redness, inflammation.
However, the drug "Visin", instructions for use, notes this fact, is a strong and quick addiction. This means that with improper use of the drops, their duration (usually from 4 to 8 hours) will become shorter. A patient who has independently prescribed treatment with Vizin drops will have to either shorten the intervals between procedures or increase the dose of the drug. And this is a direct path to side effects or an overdose.
What harm can the wrong use of the drug "Vizin" cause? Instructions for use warns that for some people, after instillation of the product, allergies, itching, dry eyes may appear . In case of an overdose, sudden surges in pressure, pulmonary edema, and malfunctioning of the heart occur. Often there are nausea, confusion, agitation or persistent, poorly removable dilated pupil.

Each of these substances has its own side effects, and all together with uncontrolled use, they can cause very serious harm.

- To eliminate swelling of the nasopharyngeal mucosa.
- Patients using contact lenses.
This group of people should bury the medicine no more than 4 times a day, and the maximum course of treatment is 4 days.
The medicine should be discontinued immediately if it caused an allergic reaction. It is also canceled if in two days there is no improvement. An opened sterile vial should not be stored for longer than 25 days.
