Brilliant is a female pop group. It was founded in 1995 by Andrei Shlykov and Andrei Grozny. This is one of the first girl music bands in Russia. For two decades, its composition has undergone many changes. About the group "Brilliant" will be discussed in our article.
Initial Composition (1995-1998)
In 1995, the producer and composer of the "MF 3" group, Grozny Andrey, together with his friend, Shlykov Andrey, decided to create a women's group. They found the first soloist right away. She turned out to be young Olga Orlova. Later, the girl invited her old friend, Polina Iodis, to the team . The third member of the group was Varvara Koroleva, a dancer. Then the group "Brilliant", the composition of which was finally determined, recorded the first single. He got the name "There, Only There." After the release of the self-titled album in 1996, "Brilliant" went on their first tour.
First changes (1999-2000)
The first group left Varvara. In her place in March 1996 came Irina Lukyanova. Some time later, Joan Friske appeared in the team. At first she was the artistic director of the group. Later, the producers decided to take the fourth soloist and offered this place to Jeanne. In May 1997, the girl starred with the rest of the band in the video "Flowers." Since then, she has become a full member of the musical collective. The girls themselves jokingly called the changes in the group "brilliant." And they were right. For two years, they shot several colorful clips ("Cha-cha-cha", "Clouds", "Where are you, where") and achieved great popularity. However, the changes that the Shiny group has undergone did not end there. Her composition changed at the end of 1998, when she left to devote herself to her family, Pauline Iodis.
New permutations (2001-2003)
In 1999, in August, a new soloist appeared in the group - Ksenia Novikova. Her arrival was marked by the advent of new songs: "Ciao, the Bambina", "Winter Will Come Over the Fall." Later, the musical album "On Love" and a collection of the best songs "White Snow" were released. In 2000, Olga Orlova left the team due to pregnancy. In her absence, Jeanne Friske became the leader of the group. This ambitious girl soon (in 2001) launched a solo project, but continued to work in a group. Soon the charming Julia Kovalchuk got into the team. The group "Brilliant" has replenished with another pretty blonde. Photos of girls appeared on the pages of famous glossy publications.
In 2003, this group was recognized as one of the most striking Russian musical projects. However, soon the group left Irina Lukyanova. She worked as a soloist for seven years. The girl was replaced by the former skater Anna Semenovich. The group "Brilliant", the composition of which was replenished with a new bright participant, recorded the song "Orange Song" and shot a clip on it. In the summer of 2003, Jeanne Friske left the team. In December of that year for the magazine "FHM" starred group "Brilliant". Photos of beautiful girls (Semenovich, Kovalchuk, Novikova and Friske) were very frank.
The fate of the group (2004-2009)
Until the spring of 2004, Anna, Julia and Ksenia worked together. Then they had a new colleague - Nadezhda Ruchka. The debut of this soloist took place in the video "New Year's song." In the updated composition, the girls recorded several new singles, released in 2006, in January, the new album "Oriental Tales" and shot two bright clips. One of them (for the song "Oriental Tales") even caused dissatisfaction with the chairman of the Islamic Committee of Russia, Heydar Jamal.
In 2007, in March, she started a solo voyage and left the group Anya Semenovich. She was replaced by young Anastasia Osipova. The single "Agent 007" was rewritten with her by the group "Brilliant". The composition of the team in this version did not last long. After a couple of months, Ksenia Novikova left him . The girl was replaced by a new soloist - Natalia Friske. It was presented to the public in 2007, on October 4, at a prestigious music award. In the summer of the same year, another member appeared in the group - Natalia Asmolova. She lasted only three months because of disagreements with the producers of "Brilliant". At the end of 2007, the contract with the group with Julia Kovalchuk ended. The girl did not renew it.
In early 2008, the producers chose new soloists, Anna Dubovitskaya (dancer) and Nadezhda Kondratyeva (singer and model), to replace Yulia Kovalchuk and Natalia Friske. However, Nadia did not work in a team. In June 2008, Yulianna Lukasheva took her place.
Recent changes (2009-2014)
In 2009, in mid-November, she announced the departure of Julianna Lukasheva. At the Golden Gramophone, the musical group presented an updated composition with Berezhnaya Marina. In 2010, in January, "Brilliant" recorded the single "Ball", and later filmed a video on it. In November of the same year, the group introduced the song "Morning". In the early summer of 2011, the legendary participant Ksenia Novikova returned to the team. "Brilliant" immediately recorded a fresh single, "Love." In October 2011, Anna Dubovitskaya left due to pregnancy. On November 11, 2014, the debut video clip for the song "Lose" was held on the RU.TV channel. On November 14, the Shiny group held a presentation of this video in the Stakan restaurant. The composition of 2014 is Nadezhda Ruchka, Anastasia Osipova, Marina Berezhnaya, Ksenia Novikova.
As you can see, members of the musical collective often succeeded each other. The soloists of the Brilliant group are always sweet and charming. I would like to wish this project creative longevity and new popular songs.
