Biography

Actress Shershneva Svetlana was born on July 18, 1940. In the early 1960s, she became a graduate of the Kharkov Theater School, having studied on the course of Kumanchenko and Pokatylo. In the period from 1958 to 1959, she served as an actress-puppeteer in the Kharkov Puppet Theater. After receiving professional education, she got a job at the Ukrainian Musical Drama Theater in Simferopol. In 1961, she became an actress of the Gorky Crimean Russian Drama Theater, where she served until 1977. Soon after, she received the post of actress at the Maly Theater, where she worked until 1985. Since that time, Svetlana Shershneva has served in the Mossovet Theater.

Stage work

As an actress of the Crimean Russian Drama Theater, she played roles in several productions. She portrayed Gelena on stage in Warsaw Melody, and played Florella in Dance Teacher. In the play “Richard III” appeared in front of the audience in the image of Lady Anne. In the production of The Last, she appeared on stage as the performer of the role of Luda.
