Kicking dance and its features

In almost all dances, legs are involved. They allow you to make movements more dynamic, and also serve to create a rhythmic pattern. A striking example of this is the Irish national dance with legs. It requires great endurance and coordination from the dancers, as it is usually performed by large groups that make synchronous movements.

This dance kicked appeared at the end of the XVIII century, but it gained the greatest popularity only in 1994. It was then that the world learned about the Riverdance show. There are other dances that are mostly performed with legs:

This is not to say that hands are practically not used in these dances, they simply perform less vivid movements.   4. In the fourth position, one leg is extended forward (approximately one foot apart). In this case, the toe in front of the standing leg is in line with the heel of the one that is located behind.
  5. The fifth position is the simplest - the dancer is level, and his feet are next to each other, socks and heels are parallel.

These dance foot positions are used in tango, waltzes, quickstep and foxtrot. They resemble ballet, but are slightly simplified - the foot does not turn out so much.
